    Default short hair?

I'm very interested in becoming a stripper, but I have ridiculously short hair. I shaved my head in July so it's about an inch long. Most people think it's cute, but I'm nervous I won't get a job because I think most guys prefer long hair.

^ Generally, girls with very short hair make money, but less of it than those with longer hair. Obviously, if you're super hot, then the short hair won't matter as much. But many guys come into strip clubs thinking that strippers have a certain "look"--whether that includes huge boobs, super long hair, etc. So you might not make as much.

Have you considered trying a wig?

I think I'm more "cute" than super hot. But I don't think my looks are bad at all. I guess I could try a wig, but I'm kind of poor right now so I don't know if I can spend the money on one.

I know a stripper who cut her hair and immediately regretted it. Needless to say, she bought a wig.

do you have a picture you can share so we have an idea how the haircut looks on you?

I believe that theres a market out there for almost every look so you can make money... but you have to feel comfortable with your hair and feeling hot helps the income.

Um geez, I haven't taken a picture in a while. Let me see if my camera is working. But I do usually feel confident in my looks. I just don't know if I have that "dancer" look.

i guess it depends were you are and what your compatishion is.
i've seen a dancer with a shaved head that did well but it was in a club that didn't have the best looking girls. i've seen girls with short hair do well in all kinds of clubs.
it has a lot to do with how comforable you are.
worse case you go buy a wig

I think it all depends on how you carry yourself and your hair. I danced for the last 5 years with a pixie (it's now an a line bob), and I have always done well and attracted attention because of my unconventional hair length. It's ok to stand out. Sometimes it works to your advantage.

Ahhh this is like my first post on SW almost 5 years ago... I had recently shaved my head and then wanted to dance. I did start dancing w/ my inch long hair. I made OK money for a newbie. After a few months- mostly out of boredom, I started messing around with wigs- it was FUN! I'd wear a different wig every week LOL. I'll admit, I think I did make more money w/ the wig, until my real hair got about... here, found a picture...

Then I went without the wigs, unless my shift was boring and I wanted to mix things up a bit lol... but yeah, once my hair was that length- I made the same money I was making with the wigs.

Ultimately.. do what you feel most comfortable with- you wont make money with a wig if you're not confident. So if you're confident with short hair- go with it!

God, I was so young in that picture! LOL

Ok, found a pic- this is how my hair was when I first auditioned..

    ^see super short!

Oh yeah, and after like 10 months to a year, my hair was long enough to put up in a pony tail and I could use one of those clip in pony tail extensions... sadly this is the only pic I could find- right after my boob job so they are still swollen... and dont ask about the photoshopped pope lol...

But you can see how hair can really transform a person.

Now share your pics with us! :

I like the short hair, but maybe I'm biased

    (Is that the pope?! )

I think your short hair is waaaay cute!!! We have a few girls with hair like that at my club and as far as I can tell, they do just fine. The thing I've found is that there is a market for almost every type of girl. I wear glasses and have small boobs so I thought I'd never make it, but then for every guy that wanted a "barbie" stripper, there'd be another that would say "I love your look, it's so much better than the fake look". So there will always be people who prefer short hair and then see you, and then out comes all their cash!!!

Go for it, you'll be great!

I think short hair is cute, especially if you have small petite features. Why don't you bring a wig with you, and decide what feels most comfortable for you if you want to test both out. You can get an inexpensive wig or in time a few to change your look. I think it may help you stand out in a sea of people that may look the same depending on where you are at. Not everyone likes the cookie cutter stereotype.

true *the idealist in me taking over* hey once in awhile i'll get a guy that asks if I'm a freak cause it takes alot of balls to wear short hair in the club. I just shrug and drag him into VIP lol. wish there were some masochists in tampa. then I would be in high cotton

I agree that it's all in the way you carry yourself - I never thought I could work short hair until i just up and shaved it and now that it's grown in I love my short hair, and I've gotten more attention from guys because it's not a conventional look they see every day.
Hallie I wouldn't let that hold you back for a second!and if you're still not sure try taking like prenatal vitamins for a month - or you can try monistat to make it grow like myself and some other ladies that started another thread: http://forum.stripperweb.com/showthr...light=monistat That should make it grow at least an inch in a pretty short amount of time to boost your femme factor a little
    Cheers

short hair doesn't seem to hurt money, especially if you've got a slim and androgenous figure. there's a market for that for sure.

I, too, have ridiculously short hair - about the same length as yours. Granted, I only just started dancing, it has definitely worked out well for me. You have the face to pull it off, and guys love to see something different. Youll probably be the only girl in the club with such short hair, which will set you apart and make you more appealing. I can't even tell you how many compliments I get from men who usually prefer long hair, but are nonetheless wildly attracted to a girl who actually looks good with short hair.
Dont be worried - go for it!
