I have a sun spot on my faceAside from a laser treatment what can I do? I'm on accutane so laser is out for now...but it's starting to bother me. Is this really from tanning? I'm only 24 and don't think I tan that much...someone help me

try prevage. that's all I can think of since you take accutane, other than to stop tanning.
Try vinegar. Heard about it this morning on Discovery Health Channel

Something Other Then Sun Spots/Liver Spots:
Don't know what I had but it was not a liver spot. I had "something" small on my face that looked like a small mole but felt like a soft, smooth, slight crust. It did not look bad it just looked like a small mole. But I knew it was not part of me like a mole is. I knew it did not belong. It was an small invader. I waited and waited and waited (as I do) and it never went away.
So after maybe 6 months I tried Apple Cider Vinegar. I just cleaned it once or twice a day with ACV and before I knew it, it was gone. I did not notice it getting much better, just a little bit better. After a few weeks or a month (?) it just wasn't on my face anymore.
It's been 3 months now since it disappeared. What ever it was, it's gone now.
Be careful with ACV, it is acid.

I tried the apple cider vinegar yesterday.. It made the spots where I put it on my skin super bright red. It freaked me out cause I was about to go out, and I quickly googled, and found it would go away in 20 minutes.. but anyways, my friend told me she saw a plastic surgeon (I think) recommend it on a show called "the doctors" or something like that. Apparently there's a panel of doctors that discuss different procedures every day..
I've been spending a lot of money at the derm on laser treatments, and even when they come off, they just come back in a couple months.. so I'm gonna try the ACV route for a month and see how it is. It's a lot easier on the wallet too..

I edited by first post in this thread to make it clear that the mole-like invader I had was not a liver spot aka a sun spot.
Liver spots effect the biology of the skin. I guess this means it effects the pigment. And that would mean it is a biological change not a condition or affliction.
I don't think ACV will remove liver spots. It killed the invader on top of my skin. What I had was on top of my skin not a change to my skin.
I see others above have said they saw a show about ACV or about skin spots. Did the doctors on that show actually say ACV was a viable treatment for removing liver spots?
Please research the subject before using ACV on liver spots.

A summary of what was said on The Doctors
"What common household product can diminish age spots? Vinegar! An acetic acid, vinegar is a naturally-occurring, weak acid. “If you put vinegar in small amounts, regularly, on sun spots, you will actually get them to fade,” Dr. Ordon explains."
He is legit Dr. A little background info on him
