I never ever raise my voice to people other than boyfriends and my kids. EVER. But the other day my downstairs neighbor complained that my kids were too loud again. Ok..it was SATURDAY afternoon. Its chilly outside so we were hangin around the apartment. I have a preschooler and a toddler. I cant keep them SILENT. They jump and play and bounce. She bitches and bitches and bitches and bangs the ceiling downstairs.
Now I could see if it was Monday night at 11pm. Or Sunday morning at 5 am. But it was SATURDAY at 2pm. My kids are in school M-F 7:00am-5:45pm. Then they come home, unless we have shopping or goin out to dinner. They are in bed by 8pm. So during the week, the only time she MIGHT hear anything is between 6pm-8pm.And maybe in the AM when we're getting ready to leave for school, but they are getting ready downstairs at the same time,so its not like they r sleeping.
So basically, Im upset because my kids are hardly here, and when they ARE here, they play a little. She went to the office before and told on me, she came up here and nearly got her face broken...talkin about " YOU NEED TO MEDICATE YOUR KIDS OR TAKE THEM TO THE PARK" Her damn teenage girls are loud too at night, 11pm...midnight, slamming doors at all hours.
SO I did get a notice like 2 mos. ago saying i need to move to a downstairs unit because im disturbing her downstairs. I went down there and cleared that up. But I know she went back down there again this Saturday.
From my understanding the office told her she needs to not be so sensitive to some noise. What can you expect in a downstairs apartment? Im tired of yelling at my kids to be quiet. They are kids.
AAAAHHHHHHH!!!
Umm can I be told to move just cuz my kids play? I could see several loud music violations, or fights, or parties, but kids playing during DECENT hours???
