    Default Inexpensive Costume?

I wasn't planning on working Halloween night, but I'm a bit strapped for cash so now I have to. Problem: I have to be in a costume. Any inexpensive costume ideas? I need to stay as far under $50 as possible.

A few people at my job suggested that I be an angel. I already have a white mini dress that I don't wear too often. I was thinking of just finding some wings, a halo and some extra glittery makeup... or is that too cheap looking? Put on a suit and be a teacher/librarian/secretary? I am so not creative and I have two days... HELP!!

Note: I'm in NY so I can go to a store to buy something if anybody has any suggestions of where to go, it just needs to be under $50.

do you really want to walk around the club wearing wings? might get uncomfortable.

I got my costume for 40 bucks and it's legs avenue so maybe your local stripper store carries sexy costumes for less than 50?
maybe you can go as a sexy school girl... you will only need a plaid skirt, crop top, and pigtails.

you know the mean girls line:
halloween is an excuse to be naked. as long as you have some type of animal ears on its ok
i was a bunny (ears, fluffy tail, and bowtie for 9.99 at target)
i just wore some lingerie with it (white and pink bra, with matching little skirt)
    and looked hot!
be a bunny, cat, mouse or whatever ears you can find, and feel free to be damn near naked!
(this still works if you work at a gown club)

    LOL!

Love the "excuse to be naked" above although I wish some would cover a bit more?

You have a white dress: get some metallic gold stuff at the craft store and make or by a "wreath" for your head...lots of gold jewelry and bangles, metallic gold shoes and eyeshadow...you're going to be "Venus Goddess of Love!"

I know it's too late to help. I just wanted to post and tell you that you and my hubby have the same name. His mother is the only person that calls him greggy.
