Default How old is too old?

I have been considering stripping for some time now and am pretty sure I want to do it -- but what age is too old for stripping these days?? I just turned 26 and look pretty young for my age and am in great shape, I'm just curious what the demographic usually is.

It depends on how you carry it. I've seen 18 year olds who need to sit the fuck down, I've seen 23 year olds who just looked like their bodies have gone through some...turbulence. I've seen 31 - 35 year olds who look damn good for their age, and hell, they looked good for mine, too. XD

Unless you're in a super-young college town (like I am), then you should actually be right around the same age as a lot of strippers. In fact, I'm thinkin' 26 is still a bit on the young side.

But generally, it's up to you to know whether or not you should be on a stage. As X up there said, I've seen 18 year olds who need to tighten the fuck up, and some 40 year olds with better-looking bodies than mine.

I started when i was 26 and retired at 31. And i could still knock spots off a lot of the younger girls i see. As long as you've got the body, looks, attitude then you're good to go!

Yeah..."older dancers" often make more money than the younger ones. They have motivation, drive, and life experiences that help them hustle up dances that even the tightest 18 year-old bodies can't get.

Sooooo on point with that one. We had this one older dancer who could just sit back in the cut, and chill until she needed money, and come out and blow ALL of us out of the water.

I would have to say anything over 45 is beyond pushing it. Taking care of youself or not. It just kind of takes away from the fantasy that some men like.

But I would also think that at that age that it would just be time to retire and chill out and enjoy other aspects of life, like during the day.

    26 is not too old!
I am one of the younger... if not the youngest girl at my club and honestly I've had guys tell me I'm too young! so don't let the age thing hold you back. for every guy that wants a young little thing, there is a guy that prefers a more mature woman. As long as you're hot, and you know you're hot you will do well. :-)

as long as you're in shape, don't worry about it. i'm 29 and i look younger... and i sometimes have to tell customers my age so that they'll want to sit with me.

what i mean is (and you'll definitely notice) there's a decent sized group of customers who prefer girls 25+ so if i were you, i wouldn't lie about your age. i have peaked a customers interest -many- times by telling him my age. sometimes they are assuming i'm younger and aren't interested because of that, then when they hear me speak and start to "get to know me" they feel more comfortable.

i'm not saying it's truth with every guy. sure there are guys who prefer really young girls, but don't sweat it. i'd say the ones who prefer the older girls are at least equal, if not higher, in numbers.

and then (obviously) there's a bunch of guys who really don't care how old you are so long as you meet their other criteria (looks, personality, etc).

If a dancer (or anyone) is making money then what is too old, too ugly, too skinny, too fat, too whatever? It's only "too" anything when the money dries up.
We have a yummy mummy in our club that banks on her motherly looks and age. Most of the guys she dances for could easily be her son. I guess it's the reverse of the dirty old men getting dances from girls old enough to be their daughter.
Then there was another club I worked at where there was a dancer who was too old, wrinkly and she was really horrible. Annoyingly she made more money than me because the bucks (bachelor party) groups always booked her for shows with the groom as a joke. She knew she was horrid she didn't care because she banked on it!!

LOL.. when I clicked on this thread I thought you were gonna say you were 50 or something. I'm 26 too. I feel like this is the sexiest I've ever been in my life. I've had the time to go through different phases with my looks, and I now know what sort of clothes/hair/perfumes are good on me. As a teen I always had really punk/choppy short hair and I spent the first half of my twenties growing it out and now it's long and gorgeous. I've learned how to take care of my skin and hair with the right beauty products. Basically, what I'm saying is I think I'm WAY WAY hotter going on 27 than I was at 18. I was a little girl then. NOw I'm a fine ass woman. And I'm still very young. And so are you.

I've also seen really old, not very attractive women making money at clubs so I dunno, I say if youre confident just go for it I don't care if you're 70! lol

I'm not in the business, but I think it depends on how you carry your stuff. Age shouldn't be an issue.

Gosh, 26, HA you shouldn't be worried unless you think you are super-haggard or something. It's not the age that counts. You can always tone up at your age! I say this b/c a local strip club has a website and there were about 12 pics up of the 'entertainers.' about 3 of them looked to be around the age of 40. and were smiling like jack asses, so happy! so they had to be makin money. really, your body is only 26 years old and even if you think it is starting to look out of shape, it possibly can't have the equivelent of 40 years of stretching and stuff. So you can tone it up. You are fine. Don't even worry. And I knew this girl who was 18 that went on to be a stripper on the other side of my somewhat small town, at the best bar of the two, and lemme tell ya, talking about an 18 year old that needs to sit down already...she looked 33 years old and was fat. Fat rolls--not thick or chunky or meaty. Just fat, looked like a Campells kid on the soup can. Swollen face and all.

I actually asked to see her license one time and told her I wanted to see her pic and showed her mine. She was kind of air headed so she just handed it to me. I could never believe her age, she looked like a soccer mom.

Too old--when you look like a leather jacket and can't gyrate your hips or be sexy. You shouldn't be telling any customers how old you are anyway, right? ; )

The oldest dancer I have worked with is 54 (though there may have been older in that one Daytona circus, for all I know). She is exceptional, looks a very-well preserved 35 or so, rock-hard body, beautiful face. But this is tough to pull off, and she has a serious genetic advantage.

A couple of SWrs and I went out about 6 months ago and I bought one of them a dance from an extremely attractive 18 year old Russian nymphet, and the 54 year old. Guess which one she liked better?

I have worked with some really, truly stunning women in their late 30's. They also tend to be more pleasant to work with, since they are over the ego games for the most part--though not always.

OTOH I have worked with many, many women who shouldn't be anywhere near a stage anymore. But a lot of women, of all ages, shouldn't be --just as your average overweight dorky looking soft guy in his 20s or 30s has no fucking business trying to strut his stuff for women.

One key factor is maintenance. The women who go to the gym on a regular basis will last in this business. The ones who are 30-40 pounds overweight, or more, might fool themselves (and a few men too desperate to set their sight higher) that they are doing the right thing dancing, but everyone else is sick to death of seeing them up there, trust me.

Worst of all are the ones who are 40ish, clearly overweight, in the club every day and night because they are desperate, and always wear the same fucking 'naughty little schoolgirl' outfit!

Jeez, I'm about to be 26! You think you're too old for the business?!

Keep in mind that the biggest money in this business is from men in the 35-55 year old bracket. They're old enough to have disposable income, bored/married (same thing), and young enough to still have a healthy sex drive. Though there are some dirty old men who want an 18 year old, most of the are just made uncomfortable by getting a dance from a girl young enough to be their daughter. They prefer 25+. Also, being older you'll be more focused on money making and involved in less drama. When I was 18-23, I was a wreck as a dancer! I really have my shit together now.
