Default How do you make the final implant choice

    OK first off, the facts:
    I'm 5'9, 150lbs and currently a uneven 36B

Anyways. I have my under the muscle breast aug scheduled for 2 months from now (Dec 29th 2008 )

The Dr told me my max implant would be a 425CC, I'm pretty happy with 350cc for the small breast and 325cc for the larger breast.

A lot of ppl are telling me to go bigger because once they heal I'll be unhappy because they wont be BIG...

My theory is that if and when I replace them down the road I can always go bigger. I much rather end up with smaller then I wanted than bigger than I wanted.

All I want is shape not size. Should I ignore advise and go with the size I "tried on" (put the implant in my bra) and feel comfortable with?

Is that what implants are to people? Just size? I just dont like the shape and uneven size of mine.

My 2nd problem/question is there are 3 diff shapes to choose from. I am not picking the rounder ones because with my height I definetly dont want spaced out balls sitting on my chest. I am actually leaning more tawrds the flattest option. The Dr tells me this will give the best cleavage. I feel like this is how I want ym breasts to look. Not so much of a portruding side profile but a full lush look.

I would love and appreciate any personal experience, advise, links, pics etc.

    Thank you.

I am almost identical to your body type (I'm 5'10").

I highly recommend going a little larger.

    I have 600/650cc.

Yeah, collegegirl, the flattest option will have the widest diameter thus shrinking the 'gap' between the implants. However... going too small can prevent you from getting the cleavage you want.

Keep in mind, if you tried sizers in your bra that is not an adequate representation of implants under your muscle. An implant in your body is constricted and doesnt project nearly as much.

As for the unevenness.... that will have to be left up to your doctor. He should know from experience how to best balance you out.

I agree with supercelestine.... you may want to go bigger... another surgery is risky, expensive, and you will need to take ANOTHER month off to heal up AGAIN.

You really, really, really should strive to get it right the first time around. So think hard.

A lot of people say they wish they would have gone bigger, not all, but a lot... depends on if your a "I can never get enough!" type of person lol. Make a list of the goods and bads of going too small or too big, and meet in the middle.

I agree that you might want to go bigger. Taller girls can usually handle a larger implant without looking out of proportion.

I got told immediately by my doctor that my BA would NOT change my shape in any way at all. All it does is enlarge your current shape! Yeah theimplant gives you cleavage etc which you may or may not have before but i know for a fact that it did not change my shape in any way at all. I had HP's, 460ccs left, 440ccs right (as i was uneven like you). I would personally go for the bigger - 425s. They say its roughly 150ccs that make up a whole cup size, so from 350 to 425 isnt even a whole cup size, so its less likely to make you look overly huge and make you look rather more full, if you get what i mean. Plus your a tall girl

I've seen a girl at work who went with smaller option and she was quite tall The implants look lost on her and shes regretting not going slightly bigger too!

It totally depends on you. Would you be more upset if you got the minimum and ended up wanting them bigger, or would you be more upset if you got the bigger size and wanted them smaller?

I'm 5'10, about 155lbs. I was a 36A/B. When I tried the implants I really liked the look of the 400cc ones. But I did what everyone told me, I went one size bigger than what I liked. I started freaking out before the surgery thinking that 425cc's would be too big.

I woke from the surgery to find out that she filled the 425cc bags to 465cc's. My doc definitely delivered! I'm so in luv with them it's unreal. If I had gone any smaller I don't think they would have looked as good and I wouldn't have been happy with them.

Go one size bigger, that's my suggestion.

I'm only 5'6, 130 pounds, and I have 445/425 moderate plus projection, and mine are not big on me AT ALL.

But yes, it is much easier to go bigger than go back smaller. I say be conservative. You're making good choices. I think you just want a small improvement, not big huge stripper boobies. Go with your gut.

For your height and body type 350/ 325 sounds rather on the small side, it would be awful to have two 'lost' looking circles on your chest, which is what can happen when you go too small, and you won't get that cleavage you want.

I'm 5ft and 115lbs and my implants are 210cc although i have cohesive gel superhigh profile and i wish i had gone a size up because whilst i definitely have boobs and now wear a 30e bra, i hardly have any cleavage. So don't get caught up in how many cc's, it's more about the look you want and if you trust your surgeon to give you the look you want then let them make the final decision.

I'd advise to go bigger as well. You don't want a mile gap between each implant. That screams fake, bad bad boob job. 300ish cc's will not be wide enough to even come close to touching on a chest of a tall girl like yourself. Not unless you are unusually narrow.

I think mid-projection is great and looks natural if thats what you want. Not pancake flat as in low profile, and not Pamela Anderson balloons like a high profile. I'd advice mid-level projection and AT LEAST 450cc's.

Do look at supercelestine. Her 600's do not look huge, they look perfect and proportionate! SC, you are a hottie! Collegegirl, keep that in mind, 600 range looks very symmetrical at 5'10!!!

I have moderate plus profile and they're AWESOME, like the perfect natural breast shape. Some fullness on the top, and nice and rounded on the bottom.
