I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

I'm split on this. On one hand, it's scary that his first amendment right is being broken. And as a performer in the adult entertainment industry, it reminds me how my rights can be taken away and laws broken at my expense.
OTOH, his work is disgusting and scary. Just like people beleive violence in movies and video games can influence children to become desensitized, I kind of think this sort of thing could influence men. Someone already interested in children or rape could get that final "Hey, it's alright. Look!" message and become a full blown sex offender.
I just haven't researched the studies enough, and they're often conflicting in their results anyway. But it's terrifying to think that there are men out there that would be turned on by hurting and humiliating women. I'd rather they not be encouraged and catered to.
But at the end of the day, he got legally prosecuted for sex work. Prostitutes and dancers are often targets, now a porn director is. It's fair in a sense. When clubs get raided the manager should be held accountable with the dancers. When a hooker gets busted her client should too. Women have always gotten the short end of the stick legally in this sort of thing.
So it's hard to be thrilled or outraged. It's one of those grey areas, complete with mixed feelings.

...as the verdict was read, 1000's of Tampa residents enjoyed upholding their "community standards" by watching videos like this.

...MoetATL07, Max Hardcore's legal issue is not about simulating kiddie porn. It's about the other gross stuff he does on film (list of charges). This was established in a different earlier lawsuit. threlayer, is expressing his opinion that the underage aspect should be an issue.
"Although Hardcore often depicts his actresses as young and sometimes beneath the age of consent, they are not actually under 18. In his film Max Extreme 4, an actress over the age of 18 was portraying a character who states that she is 12 years old. Based on these movies, the city of Los Angeles in 1998 charged him with child porn and distribution of obscenity. The fact that the actress was over the age of 18 was not disputed; they brought charges based solely on the fact that the actress was portraying a character who was under eighteen years of age. Just before the case was brought to trial in 2002, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the statute prohibiting adults from portraying children in films and books was unconstitutional (See Ashcroft v. Free Speech Coalition).

If any issue, it should be with whether or not he treated the women in his porn that way with full consent from them IMO, not by whether or not people approve of his subject material.
I have to say though, it's scary to know stuff like that is out and about floating freely for impressionable kids and young teens to stumble upon. I swear, when I have kids, the computer will be so under lock and key...!!!
Kids get sexualized so early these days. I would equate finding/viewing porn like this to some degree of irreversible child sexual abuse.

I think his problem was that he sold videos of golden showers in the US, which is illegal. I think they can be legally sold in Europe, hence the refences to Europe on the titles.
The girls who work with him definitely know what they are getting into beforehand. I know someone who worked with him and she said she made it clear what she would or wouldn't do and that he kept to the agreement and actually was not that bad a guy IRL.
