    Qualifying questions

After the initial get to know you questions, (where are you from, what do you do), what are some qualifying questions you ask to see if a customer is going to be spending money or not? How do you know if he is going to get dances, tip you for talking, or take you to the vip?

Try asking something like what brings you here? You could also try do you come here often? have you been here before? just so you can tell if they know what they should be doing or not and if not you can explain it to them. well thats the kind of questions i ask anyway. hope it helps

I always ask how long they've been at the club that night, are they from out of town, if they are there by themselves, have they had a lap dance yet......

It usually goes something like this for a singleton:

"Hey there! What are you doing here all by yourself? I'm Violet, would you like some company?"
    --Assume yes---
    "Awesome. Whats your name"
    --name given--
"Oh cool, I have a cousin/old friend/coworker/some BS with the same name, so I'll never forget you! Where are you from?"
    --City X--
"That's neat. I've been there/heard it's awesome/etc etc. Is this your first time in Las Vegas?"
    --answer doesnt matter--
"Wow! Where are you staying?" (THIS is my qualifying question. Bellagio, Venetian etc etc I assume they have something to spend. Either they arent broke OR convention guys or here for a work class who are being put up free. Somewhere cheap like 'Oh Motel 6' or 'Sahara' something like that, I assume I wont get VIP, just maybe a table dance.)
-- I usually then ooh and ahh over where they are staying, tell them something cool there, or whatnot---
"So "Steve", has anyone given you the inside info?"
    --If NO--
"Well, let me fill you in, we do $X for table dances, $X for 3 ( I usually name $20 over price) but I think you're fun/adorable/handsome/etc etc so I'll be sneaky and give it to you for $X (real price)! Let's go have some fun. I look great naked, you dont want to miss out on that!"
    --If YES--
"Oh then you know what kind of fun we can have! Come with me. You'll leave smiling ear to ear."

Thats an example. Whole thing takes approximately 5 minutes or so, and it's pretty effective.

a qualifying question I use after I ask there name, what they do for a living is, "So, who are you here to see tonight?" this one question seperates the men from the boys without you having to deal with asking them for money and getting rejected. The best answer is of course, you! If they say another dancers name, at least you havn't wasted much of your time, and you can say "well, come find me when it's my turn handsome!" if they say the bartender, bouncer, dj, ect. they're usually not going to spend shit. And then theres the ol' "oh, I'm not here to see anybody, I just came in for a beer" this guy is not likely to spend much or very quickly, with a slow hustle you can get a couple dances, but he is pretty much a waste of your time.
    Can't help it, I'm a born....[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Usually, I pay attention to what he is wearing. I like the blue collar look. Not dirty, but not in a suit. If it's 10pm, why are you wearing a suit and who are you trying to impress. If he's all dressed up, chances are he's just warming up for the real game later (AKA bar hopping), and is not going to chance smelling like a stripper or covered in glitter. If he looks comfortable, then I know that he's there because he want to be and not just because he's killing time.
