Buy some arnica gel...it's good for brusing, pain, and swelling. Also take an anti-inflammatory, (Ibuprofen, or Turmeric capsules if you're into natural remedies,) and use some kind of cold press. My knees were fucked up when I first started dancing, and all these things helped. I now take turmeric everyday as part of my supplement routine, it's a great natural anti-inflammatory.
Seriously, arnica tablets & the gel is a miracle. I buy the chew tables & eat them before work. After work I put on the gel. The next day as well. Not only does it help with soreness, it really helps keep bruises at bay. Whole foods should have it as well as trader joe's. Or buy it online or on ebay.
I read about it on stripperweb, but never really pursued getting it. I suffered for a while & finally bought some & am so thankful I did!!![]()
