I was on Aderall and my doc switched me to Straterra when I was 18. I preferred Aderall. I got suicidal thoughts on straterra. But it also didn't help that I still had aderall in my system when he switched me over. I hope things work out well for you! I really need to get back on my medication but I don't have health insurance so I wouldn't know how to go about that. Any ideas?

If you spend sometime researching natural alternatives to Aderall you'll find some good stuff you could buy at a health store, GNC or from online natural health drug stores.

When you find reviews of certain products make sure you only trust the ones found in forums like this one or health websites that are not related to selling the product.

I've been taking it for over a month and started having problems getting to sleep.
It's getting bad. Just occurred to me it might be the meds

sorry to hear about the sleeping probs, ive been on it for less then a week now but i noticed i have the opposite effect, by the end of the day i just fall right asleep where before id sit up for hours before on the computer, tv...etc lol. I do focus better when i read , a lot easier to get through the psychologyy books now for school lol i godda write a paper today so ill see if it helps with that bc i normally zone out none stop and end up re organizing my entire room , cleaning everything just anything t oavoid writing lol my attention span normally is very low.The hunger is still practically non existant my stomache doesnt ache or anything i have to really remind myself to eat which is a benefit i didnt expect because i normally really obsess over food and go in and out of spurts of bulimia but lately the urge to binge is completely not there....which has made me really happy. As for the health insurance one not sure, this stuff is costly after insurance its still gonna cost me about $90 a month if i stay at 40mg a day.

Thanks for all the responses !

Yeah! i couldn't believe how expensive. But if it works I guess it's worth it.
I stopped taking mine for a few days to see if getting to sleep is easier. Last night I finally slept good. This drug is counterproductive if I'm spaced out from not sleeping.
    Might not be for me.
That worries me about you not eating. But I do hope it helps school work.

Straterra gave me insane mood swings. I cried way more and lost my appetite a bit but no sleeplessness or anything. I stopped because I couldn't handle going from sobbing over practically nothing to feeling fine and happy and back again several times a day, LOL.
