I'm in my 40's( I know...gross to you young gals) but I have a nice fit body and look lots younger (real nice boobs) I have a bubbly personality. I've been thinking about it a lot. Am I nuts????

It really, really depends. It's such a case-by-case basis. I knew a lady at one of my old clubs who was nearly 60. They did make her work the day shift though, but she did all right.
Median age seems to be about 25-30. Go to the club you're interested in and talk to the manager! You never know til you try.
^^nearly 60 whoa, how did she look.
If you can pass for your 30's and are hot, it shouldn't be a problem. I would tell everyone you are in your 30's though. Guys are weird about shit, SC managers are no different (they may be even weirder actually). Sometimes I tell them I'm 33, sometimes if they are extremely young I just go with whatever they think, which is usually early 20's. That way I can be the older woman, without freaking them out.

theres a market out there for ya baby
start dancing have a passion for it
amd im sure you will do well

When I was dancing in NYC,there were two women during the dayshift that said they were in their forties. They might have been older-both were attractive,in good shape, danced well, and had their hustle down. And what was interesting is that it was always the youngest guys who dug them the most. I think everyone has their niche. I say "Go for it!" Cheers, Harlow

Don't call yourself gross! Don't even think it!
I say go for it. People live really long nowdays. 40's are not old.

yes dont call yoursel gross, there are three women in my club are older,
one tries to look alot younger and has had alot of surgery extensions and a ton of make up, she tells everyone shes 28 even though its so obvious shes not.
another one is absolutaly filthy with the dances, dancing in the uk is ir dances no men can touch etc etc and im sure she's 53 not 43.
my favourite xone is 40 alot o young boys ask how old are you, i think they expect her to lie, she just says im 40 babe, shes so nice. shes a bit bigger but very bubbly and makes alot of money. she used to work in financial banking and is very intelligent.she's alwys open and says how she gets tired more easily because she is older.alot of older business men wait for her. definately give it a go and let me know how it is.
DO IT! DO IT DO IT!! You got my vote! Doooooo it!!You'll be awesome!!
Be who you are, say what you mean. Because those who matter don't mind and those who mind don't matter."

I worked with two ladies at hustler that were in their late 40's and they were probally our top earners. Do it. My mom is turning 40 and am thinking of telling her to dance.

I'm 37. Yesterday I got guessed at 23 and the night before in my 20s. Also yesterday, while I was wearing a certain outfit, a custy said I could pass for 16. (That was way pushing it).
But as the girls said, if you feel it, do it. There is a new dancer at our club who is at least my age. She has an amazing body, is very thin and delicate boned with nice T&A. Nice, simple hair w/ bangs. The guys love her!!! The only thing that gives her away is her face, which is still pretty but just a bit , well, sunken around the mouth. Otherwise, she has one of the best bodies in the club.
So, DO IT!!
(Formerly known as 'Korina')
thanks everyone..the reason I'm even contempating this is...my husband and I were at a club this summer and he went to the bathroom and while gone a 20 something asked me if he could buy a dance. I was shocked.( I was dressed in tight jeans and a little tank top..I do have real nice boobies). then the manager told me I should audition.
Now it turns out with the downturn in the economy I need to make more money. The thought of a real job bores the hell out of me.
I don't have exp but I've been taking pole dance lessons.
Should I just go and audition at a small club?
Just do it!!you'll never know for sure til you do.
Good luck!
you gals are great!!! I'm going tomorrow..then I'll find out!!!
you don't need experience. For the most part managers can tell if they are going to hire you at first look... before the audition even starts. so make sure you look good walking in.
good luck and let us know how it goes.
