have you tried pinupgirlclothing.com

It is a bit more of a roc-a-billy style though
well the pin up thing is more of a forties and fifties style all together, less seventies and eighties.
"If she wants to dance and drink all night, well there's no one that can stop her. She's going til the house lights come up or her stomach spills onto the floor. This night is gonna end when we're damn well ready for it to be over, worked all week long, and now the music is playing on our time. Yeah we do what we do to get by, and then we need a release!" - Against Me!, "Thrash Unreal"

Am i the only one who had amoment at hearing the 80's referred to as 'vintage'???!
To the OP - pinup as a subultural genre tends to refer to the 40's/ 50's pinup look as exemplified by Dita. Can you clarify what you mean by the 70's/ 80's pinup? What springs to mind for me is the Farah Fawcett kind of look for the 70's, with the flicked hair and maxi dresses, kind of disco chic, and for the 80's the big, teased hair, bright colors and blue jeans of Meg Ryan and Kim Basinger http://www.80sstrikesback.co.uk/Totty.html < is this the look you mean?
I also had amoment. I was born in 1980 so damn!
OP, like Spartaca mentioned... I think you are trying to go for something like Farrah Fawcett when she was in her famous poster, with the little red playsuit on.....(so in a sense it's sort of a "pin-up") Is that what you were thinking?

When you are talking about Dita Von Teese style, yes pinupgirlclothing.com, babygirlboutique.com, stopstaring, and mode merr. I hope that's what you mean. Cheers!! Harlow
I did the face too.
Dita, and pin-up...makes sense.
"Vintage" "80's" and "pin-up" do not make sense.
By pinup, most people refer to the 40's and 50's.

Hey, I rock this look in real life! I love old glamour.
You're talking about the 30s revival disco chic stuff? Or like Jodi Foster in Taxi Driver? 70s groupies?
Just hit up your local vintage stores for the real deal. Also, a lot of modern day clubwear is inspired by that era. I got tons of 70s inspired stuff from cheapo stores like Forever 21, Body Zone, Charlotte Russe, etc. etc.
I also had amoment
Funny stuff, I was at work the other night wearing a fringey outfit, and some girl goes "You're like a 50s flapper!"
Pin up reminds me of Ms. Marilyn Monroe or the vargas girls.

i meant 40s and 50s-a verry blond moment.

When it comes down to it, I'll let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm already better then them.
