So I take 4 classes right now (my 12 week lab is over, thank god)...
Monday/Wednesday
A history class, where the test is based solely on lectures, and I attend consistently to get said notes. (I have an A)
British Literature, where most of the grade is based on papers, but I attend consistently anyways because I really enjoy it and I'm at campus anyways. (Where I'm teetering on the edge of an A/B, but I can re-write the one paper that is bringing me down)
Tuesday/Thursday
Geomorphology, a class where we have open book tests, so I skip constantly. But part of our grade is based on attendance, so that worries me. (I have a solid B on tests, but attendance is 15% of the grade, and I'm probably there half the time)
German, where everything we need to do is outline on the syllabus, so if I skipped geo, I skip German and just do the work at home. (I have an 89, I bombed a test the day after Obama was elected because I was so hung over, definitely can get it up to an A)
Am I a bad girl? Should I feel as lousy about skipping class as I do? Does everyone skip class in college a lot? An ex of mine (who was very successful and went to Ivy League schools for undergrad and grad) called college "correspondence school" because he practically never went. I'm just kind of sputtering out at the end of the semester.
