    Default How is NYC?

    Hi,

December is historically a good month for NYC because the clubs get rented out for Xmas parties, etc.

I've been up there in the past and worked at Tens and it was great.

Was thinking about working at Penthouse Executive Club this year.. but I'm kinda nervous about NYC considering the financial situation.

I live and work in South Florida currently and make pretty good money.. I'd have to be confident that the there is good potential still for money in NYC.. which I'd assume there was but I'm hoping for some input..

    Anyone?

    Thanks!

December will be good, no matter where you go in NYC. The best time to work are the two weeks before xmas. It is BANANAS in here... but from now until then, it's nothing crazy. (still good, mind you-)

If you are interested in working specifically here at PEC, I am going to be up front and honest- you had better be SUPER hot. No stretch marks, no tatoos, no roots, toned body, nice hair, great makeup. Like other clubs in NYC, we already have a lot of girls working for us, and with the economy like it is, not AS many customers as usual. Plus, we don't hire just to pack it in with girls- it's not fair to the entertainers who are loyal to us and work year-round.

I am not trying to deter you or anything, I just want to be honest.

And I'm sure now that girls are going to comment underneath what I wrote and say shit like "well, I was at the club the other night and they hired ugly girls"--- all I have to say to that is a big shoulder shrug. I can't help it if a favor is pulled once in a while.

Bottom line? There is DEFINITELY $ potential in NYC.

you should be aware that there is a 'dancer loyalty' precedent in many NYC clubs that chaos has alluded to. In order for clubs to retain dancers during the 'slow' months, they typically offer an implied promise that the club will NOT hire new dancers during peak earnings periods i.e. the month of December. This is quite a bit different in mindset from clubs in other parts of the country i.e. NYC clubs will not allow a bunch of hot 'out of town' dancers to swoop into town on December 15th - earn a huge amount of money in two weeks - and then move on to 'greener' pastures. NYC clubs need girls that will 'stick it out' during the slow months in order to preserve the clubs' 'upscale' image, and one way to incentivize that is to allow the same girls who 'stuck it out' at the club during the summer months to 'cash in big time' around the holidays. If the NYC clubowners didn't do this, it's an almost sure bet that the 'hot' NYC dancers would move out to Jersey Shore clubs or clubs in the Hamptons during their summer peak, leaving the 'upscale' NYC clubs with dancers who are 7's and 8's instead of the 10's the club's image demands.

This isn't an absolute cast in stone rule, but as chaos points out in order to get hired during peak earnings periods the new dancer will need to be damn near perfect.

Our club is run by this rule. I work in Baton Rouge, LA at the Gold Club. If you want to work at our club you have to obtain a dancer's license, which you need a state driver's license to obtain. I really appreciate this because money is hard enough without more new girls coming in to scoop up what's left.

In Fl, we have almost double the girls during season (when it is cold in the NE, October-March primarily) and when I talk to the newbies, they are almost always from NY & NJ. It's a bit different though, because many of the girls are from down here, then move up north. Then it gets cold and they come crawling home!

Cool.. thanks NYCHAOS.. I do plan on coming up and working there.
Two weeks b4 xmas is the best? Hopefully I can get up there Tuesday the 16th.
If you happen to know anyone LEGIT that's willing to rent a spot during that time I'd take it.. hotels are crazy expensive in Dec. I have a nice customer up there that will let me stay there and I'll take it as a last resort but I'd rather keep my eyes open on Craig's List and stuff 2 get a space w/ a harmless girl or by myself, ya know?... so if you happen 2 know of anything I'd appreciate it.
I know PEC is a nice club. I don't believe that I'll have any problem working there - but thanks for the heads up.

    Thanks for all your advice!

    Hi Melonie,

I understand what you're saying and I know that it pisses house girls off.... but I travel a lot and I follow the seasons & events as best I can... I never seem to have any trouble getting hired in NYC or anywhere else. Seasons and events usually need more girls... and its actually beneficial to the club.. if there aren't enough girls than guys won't stay.. and regulars like to see fresh blood regardless... it rekindles their passion..

My house club in Florida gets flooded w/ girls during season.. it is what it is. They are needed anyway because there are also tons of more guys..

Anyway, good luck in December and Happy Turkey Day!

You are right Melonie (as usual! ) -

Kjenna- definitely the two weeks before xmas are the BEST. I was going to tell you to try Craigslist, but you are already on it. If I hear of anything, I'll let you know. But yeah, it will cost you WAY too much $ per night to stay in NYC- like $400-$600 a night! That's crazy.

I will keep my ears and eyes open for you. Maybe post something on Stripperweb? It's possible someone has a room to rent. Us New Yorkers do travel quite a bit in the winter months and maybe someone has an empty space for the holidays.

Brand new to the site...and found this thread on nyc. I have been thinking of going up somtime this week (it is a little over a 2 hour commute from where I live) and was thinking of doing night shifts.

1.) Any suggestions from NYC dancers on best club (most packed/and or high rollers)??

    ...I am 5'3 115 lbs, toned, 34/25/36 natural B's, dark brown hair

Oh, I am very "natural" actually haven't worn makeup in 10 years!, and the 2 clubs I've worked nobody ever minded...will I absolutely HAVE to wear it NYC??

2.) ***what is the average night/good night/ and bad night***??

I know this varies widely on your hustle, etc...but just trying to get a ball park to see if it would be worth the 4+ hour RT commute.
...my friend told me she can make a G (average)at Lace on a fri or sat, and from what I hear, this is def not the most popular club

    Thanks:-)

Most clubs in Manhattan should be alright...Hustler, Penthouse, Tens, Ricks...hopefully but I won't lie things have been BAD. I make money but I am hustling my ass off every minute for it.

If you're natural try Ten's...they tend to hire natural looking women...some of the other clubs you almost have to some kind of serious plastic surgery, but you know how it is...try everything

I don't know about makeup...I feel like I need it, maybe you don't? Go for a night with makeup and a night with and see if there's a difference I guess.

Average night...I can't really ballpark but I rarely see a girl make more than $400 in my club (real money, not funny)...More than that seems rare at this point in time. Most girls probably make $100-200 a night. 20% of them make $300-400. However, champagne rooms seem alright...but I haven't seen anyone get real cash from a private room yet. It's hard to tell, I've heard girls say crazy shit like they make $100 at such and such club before tip outs. If you're a really aggressive hustler, you'd probably do fine.

    Good luck!

Yeah.. I worked at Ten's the past few times I was up there and I loved it.
Small club.. nice management... and they HAVE a pole! ha.. which most NYC clubs seem to be lacking for some strange reason... to me, stripper is to pole like milk is to cookies. I'm lost without it...
    lol
Champagne rooms are where the money is.. not sure about PEC - curious about that actually.
I'm all for champagne rooms as long as there isn't a closed door and mgmt actually pays attention here and there..
I worked at VIP for half a night before literally walking out of there in the middle of my shift because that is an everything go's club and everything is expected... and mgmt were assholes..
I did well at Tens last year.. I averaged $400 - $700 a night and the last night I was there I got a great customer and did two+ hours in Champagne which was like a $1200 or something check and they actually mailed it to me in Florida within two weeks of me leaving... which was GREAT!
I only want 2 check out PEC b/c I hear it's "the hot spot" up there now.. if not, or if I don't like it.. I' d go back to Tens in a heartbeat...

At PEC, is it OK if you cover up your tattoos with makeup? My friend somehow got an appointment for me and her to audition there, and I know face and body wise I could get in..but I do have a few tattoos, nothing huge but definitely noticeable.
    What about Tens?

I'm in NYC now and it's filled with girls but at least the clubs are still packed with bodies from Xmas parties but not sure about big $$$$ . I'm not a hustler but have been getting lucky. Good luck!
