    Default The Victoria's Secret Look

After stumbling upon a few of the recent runway pictures I decided to post this thread! The look is pretty consistent neck up.
Skin, bronzed they go heavy on contouring the check bones and using blush. Usually a deep rose blush over a bronzer. Very overly dramatic.
The eyes. I don't know how to describe it but it seems like a cross between smokey and "Mod." The brow bone and inner corners are always highlighted with a white or cream shadow. Most times the inner rims of the eyes are lined with white. Very full thick lashes both on top and bottom. They're not too dramatic to compete with the bronze action going on but enough to draw attention to the eyes.
Lips, for the paler models its usually a dusty rose, for the bronzer models a carmel or deeper rose shade. Looks like they're trying to play up and pronounce the natural lip color. No visible liner or glossyness
Hair, long long long more natural shades enhanced with natural looking highlights. Lots of volume and soft waves. Alot of texture.

There's my analysis summed up....anyone want to add or comment?

I've always loved women that can put on a face full of make-up and still look natural. Like it took them 10 minutes.

Personally, I can't make money all dolled up like that. But many of the women I work with wouldn't step out onto the floor without it.

In a way they look natural but you can tell its alot of make up. It looks so glamorous I love it. I love how natural they let the hair look, natural hair colors with just subtle highlights.

You pretty much nailed the look.

I LOVE the effortless natural glamourous look that the VS Angels have.. They look great.

I just want to add that if anyone is striving for the VS body, I read that two weeks before the show, they had a strict no-carb, no sugar plan, w an intense exercise routine. I'm sure they also had their own separate workouts and plans as well, though.

I saw one of them (the one that one sexiest woman) eatting a donut while backstage. She may have a fast metabolism, but that was definetly for show!

^ seriously. It's like in "The Rules" where they tell you to eat like you're naturally thin on a date, then diet in private.

It is so funny that I saw this post! I was just looking around online for how to get that Victoria's Secret look. Yeah, I am in a real need for a hair change.

This video demonstrates how to do VS makeup for the runway look. I thought it was very useful.

I was just wondering to myself what style of highlights the VS Angels get. Some of them, while still natural looking obviously have colored hair their hair, like Doetzen Kroes (sp?) or Marissa Miller ( I actually don't like her hair), and Karolina Korkova. Anyone recognize the coloring technique they've used?

I never would have thought browns for the eyes either. I don't think they use brown for all the girls. She has blue eyes so brown looks good on her.

Actually Brown looks great on all eye colors.
I do make-up and brown is a very popular more natural color that many women like.
