    Default Work Bag

I, like I'm assuming most dancers, have a work bag that I keep my shoes and outfits, makeup, etc. in. However, I have been carrying a duffel and it fell apart on me. What do you find to be the easiest way to bring your gear to work? A duffel, suitcase or other? I am trying to keep it to one convenient bag.

i used to use a small suitcase, but it was kind of clunky. now i use a big duffel with side compartments... but it was provided to me by the club. it has the club logo and whatnot on it. i like it because it's a long rectangle shape and the compartments come in handy.

actually, i just looked it up and it's this exact bag

only mine is bright yellow and black and has the DH logo. maybe you can talk your club into doing the same i imagine it's good for promotion.

i've had two now... my first one lasted about a year and 1/2, which isn't bad considering the use i got out of it and the fact that it was free.

I use a suitcase. I can keep EVERYTHING in it and I can lock it.

^definitely something to consider. i have a locker too, so i don't have to worry about that. when i worked at a club without lockers, i had a lock on my suitcase.

I keep most of my stuff in the locker @ work, and bring makeup and other items that I take home in a reallly small carry-on type bag.

I used to use a rolling suitcase, but got rid of it once I started working where I am since they give you big lockers. Just a note about suitcases and locking them: I never had any probs when I locked mine, but depending on the size of your club and the types of people working in it, you might want to be cautious w/locking it up, cuz even tho it's locked, someone could just take the whole thing out of the club if they leave before you.

Small rolling suitcase or playboy duffle bag. I can put a lock on both.

I don't like to be too obvious when I leave my house, so I use a tote for the stuff I take home. Most of my things I keep in a locked locker.

When travelling, I use a suitcase.

I take a large overnight bag, but now I want a small rolling suitcase. The hard type.
