    Default Are Lush baths addictive?

This is part in fun and part serious. I think I may developed an actual addiction to Lush baths.

I literally think about and outright crave them almost daily. It's an expensive habit too.

So what do you all think? Is it possible to get addicted to Lush bath products?

I'm going to get flamed for this, but I hated my one experience with Lush. I got the butterball or whatever it's called. It was yellow. It made my bath oily and I absolutely hated how it smelled. I got out of my bath feeling dirty and smelling terrible. Blech.

Plus, they're way too expensive. Pretty sure I bought that bath bomb for $4.50 or something. A $4.50 bath? Pft. Fuck that. I'll stick with my cheap, artificial department store bath bubbles any day.

Butterball is not my fav either. It's supposed to be oily like that.. kinda like bath oil but fizzy. Mine smelled ok. Not bad but blah.

Seriously though they really do have some wonderful stuff! Sorry you got bummed out by your first Lush bath. Then again I bet your bank account is thankful, lol!

Try the comforter bubble bar ( berry/vanilla , will turn bath pink ) with rockstar ( bubblegum ) or sexy peel ( citrus ) soap. Try the new shower cream yummy yummy yummy ( that's the name, smells like real strawberries smashed up ).

I indulge only occasionally. I spend about $50 when I'm right by the lush store ( only a few times per year so far). I've gone out of my way to buy the stuff one time.

Good stuff ... but pricy. It's better as an occasional indulgence for me.

Do you find yourself craving it like I do too? Do you think we can really get addicted to them? I know it sounds a bit dumb but I have to wonder since they enter my thoughts at odd times, the cravings are so strong and when I enter the tub I have this feeling of getting a fix or some kind.

I have always been a tub person but never had daily craving until Lush.

As far as bath bombs go I think The Sex Bomb is a great starter for people new to Lush. It will color the water, has pretty little flower petals that will float around you while you soak and has a lovely floral scent.

    Oh yes.... they're addictive.

If you're feeling (or want to feel) really girly, try the Think Pink bomb with the Comforter bubble bar. Or the Sex Bomb. Delicious..... and yeah, I'm pretty sure they're addictive. :/ I've already enabled my sister, my coworkers and my mom.

I have to stay away from the store unless I'm prepared to drop at least $50. But when I do...... mmmm. It's even worse right now cuz the limited edition Christmas stuff is out.

    Addictive? Oh yea.

I do think they are "addictive" because they seem to make me (and others obviously!)crave them when not in one,LOL! Some of the new "Holiday" products are wonderful:
    Holiday Bubble Bar...red glitter!
Christmas Kiss Bubble Bar...cinnamon with bright red water!
Chocolate Santa Bomb...creamy cocoa in the bath!
    Porriage Soap...creamy and scrubby goodness!
    Snowcake saop...almondcreamy,and awesome!
I actually find myself watching the clock in the evenings sometimes to see if it's "time yet!"
Insane,I know! There is also a new bomb called "Magic" that turns the water like 3 different colors and one called "Snowdrop" that is minty and sparkly!
    I'm doomed...
    What's with the tiny box?LOL!

I actually figured out how to make my own bath soaps with tea tree oil and other herbal extracts ... at a tiny fraction of the cost of the commercial bath bombs.

I took the money I saved and installed a spa tub and flat screen TV (with built-in DVD player) in my bathroom !!!

It IS fun to make your own stuff and I bet yours is yummy! The recent cost of shipping bulk-ingredients (wholesale) has made me less eager to whip things uplately but I have a lot of recipes I'd like to try! People love homemade bath things for gifts too!
I so agree on the great tub/TV in bathroom!

Well that's nice and I am sure you enjoy them but to be perfectly honest I doubt they compare to Lush stuff. If they do then you are seriously in the wrong business considering Lush has stores all over the world and a thriving net business.

No reason you can't do both! It is fun to make your own bath stuff for sure but for a true bliss bath experience nothing beats Lush.
