    Default Fragrances

I was looking through the forums and I didn't see a thread like this. In your experiences, what body sprays and perfumes work for you or against you?

I always get compliments that I smell good. I use Lucky You by Lucky Brand. When they ask what I'm wearing, they get a kick out of the name too. It works best for me and its not expensive, which is always a plus.

There's some info in 'Body Business'. Also, in this section, something about pheremones.

Believe it or not.....NOTHING! I bought some cucumber-melon spray after a suggestion I read on SW a while back, and found that I get more dances if I don't wear it. I tried a few other body sprays but for some reason I just make more when I don't wear anything at all. Funny too, cause I always get asked "what are you wearing" when I am not wearing anything at all!

Also I think that it's good not to be too overpowering with fragrance. A little squirt here and there. I remember one time a veteran at my old club told me not to wear glitter, cause it would stop me from getting dances. She told me that there are alot of guys whose wives/girlfriends don't approve of the SC, and will turn down dances from a glitter wearer cause they don't want to come home with it on them and get caught!
The same can be said for perfume as well. If he's supposed to be out golfing with the boys, there's no reason he should be coming home smelling like Body Fantasies

It's true that you should never wear too much perfume. I swear by parfum or eau de parfum never eau de toilette - eau de toilette is too light and wears off too quickly. A touch of pure parfum will warm into your skin and exude for hours with your natural scent and THAT is the stuff that guys love.
Channel or Dior are my faves.

ok...here's my money making trick...which is guaranteed to work..( I think other have mentioned this in other forums). I spray my coco-madmoiselle (it doesn't matter what ever perfume you have will do) and I ...ummm...place my hand in my woman spot and rub the "scent" (I'd say it's more like rubbing pheremones) on the back of my ears. It totally works..granted you're not on the wave

The fragrance I got complimented on the most is a perfume by Nina Ricci that comes in an apple shaped bottle. I even had a female custy come back into the club a few weeks later to get the name of the perfume and some lap dances. Currently, I wear Gucci Envy, which smells good, but I don't get as many compliments on it as the other. Mariah Carey's perfume always works against me. I don't even like the smell of it myself anymore. I just threw a huge bottle away.

I used to work with this one chick who would put body glitter all over herself from head to toe, AND spray glitter in her hair AND absolutely DRENCH herself in perfume to the point where she'd walk by and it would cause you to choke.
I don't know how she ever got any dances.

Oh I wanted to add that my friend wears this "Cake Icing" scented body spray....it smells like the white birthday cake icing. She swears by it, but it makes me sick. I also hate that "Cotton Candy Fantasy" spray that so many girls wear UGH it makes me want to hurl.....I wonder if guys actually like it....

I tried the stinky cotton candy smell, and I did get the you look too innocent to work here comments, it could have also been that I was more covered up then a lot of the dancers wearing a corset. It smells way too sweet for my taste.Wearing mens deoderant works in my favor odd I know!

^^lol Wearing men's deodorant always works for me too I find that no fragrance works well for me as well.

I think people smell all the other custies cologne. Or maybe just cast off from the other girls in the dressing room.
When it comes down to it, I'll let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm already better then them.

I wear plain old vanilla body spray at work. It's cheap and probably tacky, but the guys looooooove it. Occasionally I'll switch it up and wear Rapture by VS, and I get compliments on that too..but way more when I'm wearing the vanilla. Guys like foody scents.

My favorite perfume is Hanae Mori, but when I work, I noticed the guys really like the cheapie body sprays, especially from VS. Even my husband likes it when I wear these. I think they might associate them with a "club" atmosphere.

I do have 1 very pretentious, snotty and overall asshole reg. customer that I have had for 3 years. When he comes in, I go and spritz 1 of the perfumes he gives to me as a gift (last gift was Prada which I actually like). He is very generous, but he has a terrible personality.

If you want to save money and appeal to the masses use a body spray, or reasonably priced perfume.

I make most money wearing nothing at all. I make second most wear a scent from Paris Hilton. I don't knowthe name but it is in a bottle with squiggly lines. I get lots of compliments when I wear it.

I find it hilarious when I finish a lapdance with a customer who is drenched in cologne then I go on stage and the guys are like "what are you wearing? It smells so good." I just smile and shrug my shoulders. I think I get the most compliments off of custies cologne. lmao!!!

The au natural smell would never work for me.

I prefer to drown myself in bath and body works. I'll keep my fragrance of choice a secret, but it really works well with my body chemistry and I'll try nothing else. I'm always complimented on how good I smell and guys even go so far as to tell me how bad other girls' smelled and that I should give them a few pointers on hygiene. Well, that's clearly out of my job description...

Anyhoo, it's not over-powering, doesn't transfer to other people's clothing, is relatively cheap, and carries a whole product line full of other goodies I can't say no to like, the lotion, room spray, candles, and body wash, just to name a few, etc.

Amariage by Givenchy. I used to always bank with that one, but hella girls started wearing it and really poured it on,so when mine was out I stopped using it. It doesn't work if EVERYONE wears it.

I also noticed that lots of girls are wearing Body by VS, but damn, that shit is strong and I don't wear it to work.

Too many girls wear too much perfume, thats for sure. Sometime I feel a little nautious from the overwhelming smell.

One of my regulars gave me Lauren which I love and my other custies like it,too. As for me,I feel sexier in the spicier scents like Opium,Coco,Samsara,etc.. It seems like men would respond to a unisex cologne...that way if they get busted at home, they can say they tried a sample at the mall!!! Yes,I've found that men respond to the "tasty" scents like Vanilla. That's a scent I always notice and like on other women, too. Cheers,Harlow PS Ladies don't let the puritans get to you,the "woman scent" does not smell bad unless you are sick. In fact,I found the women I worked with that smelled a little funky, earthy definitely attracted the men...so some men definitely go for the natural scent...it's very instinctual!!!

I like to slighly water down my perfume and only spray it in my hair, makes for a light fragrance without rubbing off on custys.

I used to always wear Angel by Thierry Mugler. Guys LOVED it on me, and I always got to make a crack about me wearing something that was false advertising.... Lately I've been sticking with Very Sexy from Victoria's Secret. The great thing about that one is that there's pheremones in it, so you get that extra oomph.... The other thing that I do is I spritz in the air and then walk thru it, the only direct spritz I do is into my hair.

These scents also do something interesting on me.... My body chemistry seems to react with them and it turns the scent spicy.

    Miami Glow by J. Lo.
Anything else that men have bought for me--whether i liked it or not. Most likely other men will like it too.

I think it smells like roach spray, but men like it. I squirt some into a cotton and dab behind my ears before i shower.
