    Default Nutrition53: Lean1

I was at the doctors the other day and found out that I've gained 7 pounds since May. I'm currently at 118 pounds, which is the most I've ever weighed. I really need to start working out again on a regular basis and pay better attention to what I eat. I was reading in Life & Style about Nutrition53: Lean1, which is apparently what Angelina Jolie and Britney Spears used to get into shape. Has anyone tried it?

I haven't tried that but you know what I gained weight finally after 7 years of trying and I feel so much better. I am not over weight just much happier. I can see working out and staying in shape but just because you gained 7 pounds doesn't mean you need to get it of it right away. I weigh anywhere between 120 - 125 now and I look healthier these days and not anorexic. I don't want to loose it but I will keep a work out to just stya in shape. ^_^ It is nothing to freak out about. I am sure you look beautiful anyways

One thing to consider is how old you are. As a woman ages, it is perfectly healthy for her to gain weight. Not 7 pounds a year, but a little cushion never hurt anyone.

Diet and exercise is your best bet. You will lose weight and it will sty off. You will gain muscle and bone mass, which will protect against injuries. And you will feel better and look better, not just thin.

Anytime you hear that a celeb is taking something, trust me, it's a gimmick. That star was probably paid for the right to use their name. Besides, those kinds of supplements are not healthy for regular daily use. You will become addicted. Some even have warnings that say, "Consult a physician if you suffer from depression." The reason is that these pills are basically speed and I'm sure you know how addictive any kind of upper can be.

It's actually not a pill, it's a smoothie. You're supposed to have one in morning and for lunch and then eat a healthy dinner, but I'm sure it was more to it then just drinking Lean1.

I'm 21 and at 5'2". It really isn't a lot of weight. I used to weigh any where between 100 and 110 if I was lucky. I know everyone feels better or healthier in their own way just don't go thinking you are overweight or it is a huge issue. I am sure you are just as beautiful as ever.

tennisqt - I am your age and 1 inch shorter than you (5'5") - and I just went to the doctor's as well only to leave with a weight of 125 lbs. I've been freaking out over that because my ideal/normal weight is 115 lbs....but the thing is...I am still a size 2! None of my clothes fit differently...I have been working out (swimming and yoga) a lot more though....maybe I am gaining muscle weight? Or retaining water? I honestly have no idea and it would make me crazy to analyze it.....so I am vowing not to go by a number. Go by how you feel, and how your clothes fit.

I remember being 105 lbs up until I turned 22....I couldn't imagine weighing more! I thought THAT was my perfect weight. Now that I see what the added weight actually looks like, I would hate to be at 105 lbs again!

Keep in mind, we just got through Thanksgiving and I am sure we have all been ingesting a few more calories and getting less exercise since it's becoming winter...so take that into account before you resort to diet pills.

woops i just read that it's not a pill, but a smoothie...either way....exercising and adding more fruits & veggies to your diet is prob the best way to go.

yea i'm usually between 108-111, so my current weight is a big deal to me. achickonspeed, if you're still the same size then you'll probably just been gaining muscle. i on the other hand haven't been working out on a regular basis, so unfortunately it's not muscle.
