Once again I have embraced my addiction and have put off the moral dilemma to another day.

Not if Murdoch acquires it.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

Baloney ! It was the BEST thing that ever happened to Valerie Plame and Joe Wilson. They've made millions from her "outing". In fact, many eyebrows were raised on the D.C. cocktail circuit about the whole "scandal" because it was WIDELY KNOWN before the story broke that Plame worked at the CIA. Novak said so; so did Sally Quinn ( Ben Bradlee's wife ); so did Andrea Mitchell and so did Chris Hitchens who was one of many on the LEFT who were scratching their heads trying to figure out what "CRIME" had been committed when Fitzgerald KNEW from the git-go that Armitage "leaked" her name to Novak.

So what if they made millions? That still didn't give Novak the right to out them. Only Plame and Wilson had the right to out her, period. I can't believe people think outing a CIA agent was ok. It's not, and can be treason (which carries the death penalty in several instances).

In order to be "outed" her status had to be S E C R E T. It was classified, yes, but when your occupation is common knowledge in Washington D. C. , (the sieve of sieves) as Plame's was, she was NOT outed. It was made public and given wider circulation than it previously had but it never came close to being a crime. She was not even covered under the applicable statute dealing with revealing identities of COVERT CIA agents.
Libby was convicted of perjury which consisted ENTIRELY of his getting careless about whether he told Tim Russert or Russert told him ( he told Russert) about Plame working at the CIA. And that was AFTER Armitage had already dropped her name and Novak had printed it.
And actually, if she REALLY had been a covert CIA agent she was legally proscribed from revealing that without following several strict protocols.
Huh ? All the piece said was to keep an eye out for WHO was on that phone call.
As compared to the N.Y. Times article trying to smear McCain with implied marital infidelity ? What the WSJ printed is no different than what TIME , NEWSWEEK and U.S. NEWS prints all the time.

The Albatrosses circle tighter and tighter ...
(snip)"President-elect Barack Obama’s chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, refused to take questions from reporters this morning about whether he was the Obama “advisor” named in the criminal complaint against Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
The complaint states Blagojevich wanted a promise of a high-level appointment or some other reward for Blagojevich in exchange for Blagojevich naming Obama’s friend Valerie Jarrett to replace him in the U.S. Senate.
Emanuel was uncharacteristically absent from Obama’s news conference this morning. He was spotted two hours later in the lobby of Chicago’s City Hall. He was there to listen to his two children performing in a concert with their school, Anshe Emet.
A Sun-Times reporter pressed him to comment about whether he was the emissary named in the criminal complaint.
“You’re wasting your time,” Emanuel said. “I’m not going to say a word to you.(snip)

AMEN!!!
Read the Congressional transcripts, Plume couldn't even say she was 'covert'. The rationale she was using was deplorable (a General is a General). Just because CNN, liberal media didn't cover/ report it and a right wing media source did, doesn't make it not true.

Patrick Fitzgerald the US attorney was appointed by Peter Fitzgerald (no relation) a Republican as an outsider who would clean up the mess in Illinois. If anyone has a body count I would guess he has put away a lot more Dems than Republicans.
There is much speculation that the reason Fitzgerald acted when he did was to get this out in the public view before Obama takes office. Everyone wants him out of their hair in Illinois particularly Major Daley who is on Fitzgeralds radar screen. Obama could remove Fitzgerald thus getting the heat off of Daley and others.

It's the crooks who should be outed.
