So, tonight I ordered pizza for dinner cause we had no food in the house and didn't feel like going shopping. I was waiting for it to come and was pretty hungry and needed to munch on something. So, I hard-boiled an egg (the only thing left to eat in the house) and snacked on that. Then my pizza came, and I was only able to put down one slice before feeling stuffed! Now, we've eaten at this place before and I can usually put down 3-4 slices with no prob. I can with any pizza, really. I've eaten a whole medium to myself before!
It had to be the protein in the egg that made me feel full. I've heard of drinking a big glass of water right before you eat, and that will help you scarf less, but it never worked for me. This actually worked!!
I don't eat too crappy most of the time, we try to be relatively healthy, but I am a portion whore. I eat wayyyyy too much and really have been wanting to find a good way to get this under control.
The egg trick......new diet craze??? We'll see! I'm gonna try it again tomorrow and see if there's a pattern.
