Default having a stylist style my hair for work

I just had my hair cut and since it was a VERY ritsy place, my new stylist actually styled my hair, I got soooo many compliments and made mad, easy money that night that I am tempted to actually start having it professionally done for work. All it is, is a shampoo and blow dry, but the way she did it really mad me hotter than usual and I am tempted to pay the exta 30 plus tip each night I work to get the same effect.
I have had my hair styled before, but WOW I've never looked that good.
I am wondering if it's worth it... Times are tough, but I had so much confidence that night that I think the money would be well spent and come back.
    what do you guys think?
Please don't lick me, it tickles..

well, if you can make an extra hundred or more a night with the extra confidence and hot hairstyle... then i think it will be a logical and good investment

but i would only do it for the busier nights...like weekends

I would do it, some of the clubs I've worked have stylists and make-up artist on hand.
I can NEVER do my make-up and hair as good as they do. Plus I felt like I was pampering myself too and that's always a good thing. If it increases your earning, then go for it.

I say, if it gives you more confidance ad you make that extra buck, then do it! We had a stylist come into my work once and he did my hair and makeup and all i can say is wow! and thats what everyone else said, too!

I sell a lot of clothes to girls that feel a new outfit will make them more money. It's the same premise. If you believe that it will make you more money, than do it.

But also keep in mind that getting your hair styled professionally might just be giving you a mental edge (though there's nothing wrong with that). Your money making potential is probably there all of the time, but your hairstyle gives you an excuse to bring it out! Hard for me to believe that customers would really notice something like that...

I'm playing devil's advocate though. Whether it gives you a mental or physical edge, I say go for it!

If it makes you feel sexier then go for it but also remember if you do it too much it might lose it's spark. So I agree with another girl who said to just do it on the weekends or special occasions so it keeps it's flair and awesomeness.

Also, if you can get away with it, don't wash your hair every day. That way, the style lasts twice as long.

I'm with Ms. Mia roberts and Wnged Dinghy: if it'll make you extra money, do it on weekends so it'll definitely be worth it (plus, like someone else said it'll get old it you do it too much).

And yea, avoid washing too often so at least you don't have to get it professionally styled as much.

And of course, enjoy it if you deserve it.

as a stylist myself I say ask your stylist to show you tricks and easy ways for you to do it yourself at home, if you're willing to spend a little extra time gettin ready!
