








I'm excited about my purchase. I don't think I have any light weights here. I had some 5lbs but I can't find those anywhere. So, I'll go to walmart and buy more..maybe I'm downsize and get 3lb like the rest of you girls.

i've been doing the dvd for a bit, and i thought my weights were 5lbs, and so i would just use one at a time, using two hand (weird i know) but it turns out they are 8lb weights! no wonder i was so sore and couldn't do it all the way! im going to get some 3lbs weights tomororw...or maybe 4lbs. i love the 30 day shread though!
You can always just use water bottles as hand weights until you're strong enough for 5lb.
When I started, I was so sore using only 3 lbs. But within 4 or 5 uses, the 3lbs were too easy, so I upgraded to 5. So it would suck to spend money on light weights you'll outgrow in a few days.
I finally started but still not eating very healthy. Oh well I'm just trying to cut down on what I eat and drinking a glass of water before each meal. I'm on day 2 level 1 with 5 lbs weights.I took my goodbye pic now I just hope I can really say goodbye to it LOL. I'm also worried about the pouch b/c after I had my son (now 11mths old) I haven't been able to lose it!
Just started level 3 and it is no joke! But very doable after a few times and I think I'll like it more than level 2. There's a lot more jumping around which surprisingly wasn't that bad on the knees and kind of made the time go by even faster. I need to eat better to see what it can really do as well.
Did level 2 lastnight... I thought it was more fun than level 1.. I'm gonna switch off between level 1 and 2 for about 7-10 days then try level 3, see how that goes.
But yeah I'm addicted to this DVD, I love it! And have lost close to 2 pounds so far this week!
Ok you all talked me into it! I'm starting the 30 day shred today. I'm writing down all my measurements and weight, to compare with after. You ladies have yet to lead me astray and I'm super excited to try it!I'll keep you all posted, maybe I'll even get brave and add a photo or two

I started it today! Oh my gosh, that kicked my ass so bad! I work out and mix up cardio and strength and I can't believe how hard that was!!!! I was using 5lb weights and more than once I had to put them down and continue the move without the weights. I'm expecting some good results from this. I can't wait to post my goodbye and after/hello pictures here in a month!![]()

I'm doing the level 1 for ten days, then level 2 for ten days, then level 3 for ten days.
But you can really mix it up however you want. Whatever works best for you.
My boyfriend just started doing this with me two days ago- real fun to work out together- and he's feeling the burn! LOL
This morning the scale said I was down another 2 pounds... I'm in shock though and don't believe it just yet- we'll see if in a few days its still saying that! lol
IF it is true though, that means I've lost 4 pounds in my first 2 weeks of doing this! And I have skipped like 3 days in the last two weeks. So yeah, I'm loving this!!!

So today is Day 30 for me. I know I've lost inches around my waist but I just can't really tell anymore, you know? A couple people have commented so that keeps me going, as well as knowing you guys are sweating it out too.
I'm not totally satisfied by my progress, so I'm going to step it up and go another round with additional cardio. The most important change is I've started cleaning up my diet, which they say is 80% of losing weight. I'm already thinking ahead to chillin' at the beach all summer so I'll be back in a month with those goodbye/hello shots...

so I didn't read this thread all the way through before I got my copy. I did level one, and used 5 lb weights, the day after I was fine but today my biceps really hurt! Also I live on a top floor and it was about 10:30pm, I decided to do the workout before I went to bed, to burn off part of the days calories. Everything was fine until they wanted me to start doing jumping jacks! I didn't think the people below me would be down with that, so I had to improvise a bit, but all in all, it was a good workout

My copy from netflix came in the mail yesterday and after what you girls said about it, I decided to sit down and watch it first just to see what I'm in for... The shit looks hard. I didn't even know what a "plyometric" was. I'm very afraid. Starting tomorrow though.




I started is two days ago. Can't do it today cuz my allergies acted up like crazy and I couldn't breathe for anything. And it is so warm in our room that it wasn't helping my situation. But I started on level 1 both days and it does kick your butt. But I love it. Even though I am tired or sore afterwards I feel great about it. I'll do it twice tomorrow to make up for today. lol.

Has anyone lost weight with this? I've used it on and off, but haven't touched it in almost a month. I'm heading to Dallas for spring break, so I wanna lose some fat before then!![]()
update: Lost 5 pounds in 3 weeks so far.
If you watch your diet, and do this everyday, I think its realistic to lose 1-2 pounds a week.
