    Default The Agenda Game

How many women here suffer from `Men with agendas`? In everday life I mean?
For example, you find out a guy you know, or have just met through freinds has a skill you find useful. Amazing with PCs, or cars, whatever. So you mention you need something done, he says he will help you out. And time and time again this type of guy reckons that not only will this get him into your pants, but that if it doesnt,YOU were the one with the agenda!!
So then he doesnt even want to be a freind anymore as HE feels he has be played.
Not that you just dont fancy him, but you woudnt mind him as a freind.

Now I dont mind some guy thinking `Wow, I bet she will be SOO grateful when I fix her ,whatever it is, that her knickers will just magicaly fall off`. Its stupid but I dont care, what bothers me if the attitute they get after as if I was up to something when it doesnt happen!

    It doesnt seem fair.

yeah, guys are really dense. they're always misreading signals (such as breathing) as interest in them. i've been in that situation several times, so with the ones i want to keep as friends i make sure to act especially platonic. the ones i dont care to deeply about - i let them fix my car and let the chips fall where they may
These days I like to count my money. I like to wash it delicately and iron it. Sometimes I dry it with some bounty to make it all nice and cuddly. I love my money... did I say that out loud?

eh. i don't even try to get people to do me favors. most guys i've known have had this idea that if i haven't fucked them already and am not currently in a sexual relationship with them, they have no reason to do me any favors.

guys who won't buy a girl drinks when out even if they are fucking her. i guess they think the sex is so good, she should be buying his drinks.

personally, i've dealt with a lot of guys who thought that hanging out with me was a huge favor, and if i wasn't putting out after paying for my own food at dennys, i was a cocktease. like geez, i thought you just enjoyed that we shared the same interests and laughed about the same dead baby jokes. like i find fakes a turn on.

maybe my dad is right about it being tampa. are guys better than this in other places?

True. I just hate having to repeatedly kick people out of my life b/c they do this.

I totally understand the complexity of this issue, but have never really experienced any of this first hand. I'm pretty up front with the "girly men" and let them know the score, "0". There is the situation of the ex that lingers around as a really good friend in hopes of getting you back, but heh if they're in denial about my obvious rejection of them, so be it. Milk it for all its worth ladies.

Oh wait, dont think I havnt had that before too! Iv had things held over me quite a few times. It teaches a girl not to rely on men in the first place really. Iv also had guys offer to do stuff for me that I didnt ask for, recently it has been someone offering to sort out my hardrive. You can bet it will get about half way done before he has to go `get another part` then he will enjoy me nagging and needing him for the next 2/3 weeks.

Not my fault if he thinks he has nothing else to offer via freindship than pranks like this. Proof that you are what you think you are worth.

anon789, thats fine and dandy, what I dont like is the slyness. Its creepy.
