Default Macaroni & Cheese Recipes for Christmas...

I am the type person who likes to try a new recipes--- I might make the same thing a few times over but I always like to use a new variation in order to try and "make it the better" lol..... anyways.... I love Mac n Cheese, esp around the holidays cause it is sooooo unhealthy & total comfort food. I have been trying to find an extra creamy, extra yummy recipe all day but they kinda all look the same. I've made it alot but I love the bake kind and always want it to be even more rich. I have all the ingredients macaroni, cheese, milk, mustard, salt, butter, onion etc.... all sitting in the cubbard I just need to know a really good way to put them together.

Can anyone help me out please?

I also have a crock pot--- and I loveee it so I'm not opposed to crock pot mac and cheese to the bake kind. But I've read alot of things about crock pot mac n cheese coming out like custard vs. creamy and I don't really know how to tell the difference either--- so yeah.

    Help, help, help?

Please anybody wanna share your secret???

This is the last recipe I used and it was so, so--- I want something more creamy

    Pattie LaBelle's Mac and Cheese

    Ingredients:
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    1 pound elbow macaroni
1/2 cup butter PLUS"PLUS" means this ingredient in addition to the one on the next line, often with divided uses
    1 tablespoon
    1/2 cup shredded Muenster cheese
1/2 cup shredded mild Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
    2 cups half & half
1 cup Velveeta, cut into small cubes
    2 large eggs, lightly beaten
    1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

    Directions:
Preheat oven to 350:. Lightly butter a deep 2 1/2 quart casserole. Bring a large pot of water to a boil over high heat, add the oil then the elbow macaroni and cook until macaroni is just tender (about 7 minutes). Do not overcook. Drain well and return to the pot.

In a small saucepan, melt the first measure of butter. Stir into the macaroni. In a large bowl, mix the Muenster, mild and sharp Cheddar cheese and the Monterey Jack cheese. To the macaroni, add the half & half, 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheeses, the cubed Velveeta and the eggs. Season with salt and pepper. Transfer to the buttered casserole. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese and dot with the remaining butter.

Bake until it is bubbling around the edges, about 35 minutes. Serve hot.

I put in meatballs from the frozen food aisle and some shredded cheese to the stove top kind.

Does anyone have a good recipe for the baked macaroni and cheese with bacon?I think it was like 4 cheese, with longer type of pasta, not just elbows, bacon on top?An ex-boyfriend made it once or twice in NYC and it was divine.Don't feel like contacting the fucker to get that recipe, been a long time.
    Thanks!
