Default Working in Houston - what's required?

    Happy holidays everyone,

I'll probably be in Houston over the next few months and would like to audition in area clubs. Would anyone familiar with the city pm me or post what's required in some of the clubs in and around southwest Houston?

    Thanks,
    ML

I worked in Houston for two years. The law requires dancers to wear latext, and pasties are not enough, it has to be the liquid kind. Full bottoms are a big one as well, they must cover everthing as the strip clubs are all called Bikini Bars now. You can't show anything part of the crack of your backside, and you must cover everthing. Even if you have a dance ID. They have been raiding a lot of clubs in Houston as well. Teasures is the biggest club they have out there and it gets hit the most due to the amount of girls they have working there. One a really busy night they will have upto 250 girls working the floor. The club is huge. If you have any questions about the clubs in Houston, let me know.

I've worked in Houston clubs for almost 6 yrs. When they first started the license stuff, it was a disaster from the start. Now they've gone back to latex and full bottoms. You can get away with wearing the fabric paint if you are allergic to latex like me. I haven't worked at any clubs since April. I've been trying to leave the club scene alone. But that's what the clubs are like in Houston now. You can go to Treasures, but it has turned into a huge hoer house! They don't have the money nor the women like they used to. It used to be so upscale and so much money. Try the mens club, their customers are a little better than Treasures now or st. james. But they always have too many girls and too many drugs. They are another one that gets raided besides Treasures. Alot of Houston clubs have gone down the drain to me. They are nothing like they used to be and also alot of owners have sold to other owners and it's just not worth it anymore. You may make a little something every night you work, but a lot of my friends that still constantly go all say it sucks. The economy here isn't as bad as alot of states but everyone still feels the hit. I hope you have luck. I'll let you know more if I get any info.

No not anyone, it's latex and full bottoms. All the clubs in Houston are now bikini bars. If you work at a club in Houston that tells you otherwise, don't listen to them. You will be arrested if that club is raided. They've been raiding the clubs a lot here, especially the bigger ones with a lot of girls. Be careful.

I'm at College Station right now, we danced at Silk Stocking, aka the dirty sock, last night. The girls there are very sweet and the money wasn't fabulous but it was EASY money, not much hustle required. I've heard awful things about Houston's clubs being raided like crazy and I'm not trying to get arrested. With the license laws in Dallas I'm not sure where to go to dance down here. May try Houston tonight...any suggestions?

In Dallas it's similar to the license rules in Atlanta. Whatever club you get hired at, you have to go get the license and they ask for the club that hired you. You have to be hired somewhere before you get the license. But. it's not anything you wear. It's a paper you have to take back to the clubs because they won't let you work without it. I think you have to have one for each club. It's crazy, I haven't worked there since last year. I think pretty much all of Texas clubs aren't good anymore. It's just not anything going on in the exotic dance world anymore. Good luck!

I am also thinking of working in Houston. How much exactly do "full bottoms" cover? Are they actually bikini bottoms? Just want to make sure I have something appropriate to wear when I get there! Thanks

I know this is a dated thread, but I wanted to let ladies looking for work in Houston know about a club thats way under the radar... Colarado Bar and Grill. Not advertised except the giant sign from the highway. Cleanish, upscalish, amazing food, and the prices are high as hell (450ish an hour for VIP before you negotiate your price), so it keeps the really scrubby custies out, or at the very least running for the door as soon as they find out what shit costs.

Still full of hoes. And drugs. And the latex is a pain.

Could anyone post up what's an example of the latex and full bottoms we have to wear? Also, what is the age to work there?

GREAT club to work at! 10 years ago, lol. Believe me, if anyone in Htown is paying $450 an hour, 98% of them are going to expect sex and not take no for an answer.

I might be wrong though, at least I hope I am.

Well its like that everywhere, though, right?? I've only danced in Htown and Austin, so maybe my scope is limited. I've had great experiences at the Colorado, but there is a pretty strong expectation from some clients to get extras. Just gotta know when to give up the hustle.

And for the hunny who asked for a pic of latex, I don't have any on hand to take a photo for you, but imagine just painting a flesh colored blend from the top of your nipple, all the way down to the bottom curve of your breasts. Like a little triangle with a rounded bottom.
