Depends....are you willing to travel? Looking for a certain ethnicity mix?etc.

^^ Agreed!! First off, where are you? I've worked primarily in Atlanta, San Francisco and Las Vegas, so I can help you with that.

Yes I am willing to travel. I live in Houston, but haven't worked since April. There isn't anything going on in the clubs here.

I am only really familiar with the clubs in Atlanta. There are a million options here, considering that it's known as the strip club capital of the world.
We have a ton of black clubs, a ton of mixed clubs, and a ton of clubs that are primarily white with a few 'others' sprinkled in the mix.
The only mixed club I've ever visited was Oasis. I hear (off and on) that there is good money in there.
In the clubs that are primarily black, form my experience, you usually do very well as a 'newbie.' They just love new faces. I dunno if that's how it works in other clubs but that's pretty much the protocol for (most of) the black clubs in the Atlanta area.
Depending on your experience and what you're use to size wise, you'd have a lot of options. If you're use to being around 50+ girls on any given night, then a club like Strokers, Magic City, or even Onyx would benefit you. But if you're use to smaller clubs, you could possibly try Platinum 21, Goosebumps and I think that they opened a new spot called Candy Shop.
Again, it's all relative...and it depends greatly on what it is specifically that you're looking for.

Thank you for the advice. Yes at Treasures we used to always have like 100 girls a lot of nights. I like both types, but I don't like a club with not enough girls because I like to work the floor so I only like to make one appearence when it's crowded and then I have to make my money. Do all of those club require you to be licensed or could you possibly work for a few days and then get the license?

I worked at Strokers for a very short period of time. And I also worked at this (now defunct) club called Blazing Saddles.
I'm still asking around for that info on which clubs do and don't require a license.
I know factually that Stroker's, Pin-Ups, Magic City, Body Tap require one.

Mardi Gras doesn't require a permit, but I believe they also want you to have an ATL driver license/ID. I think they just want to avoid having travelers blow through their club so easily. There is also a club called Main Stage where you don't need a permit. That's all that I know of. I think the permit for Club Wax is only $50, which is nothing compared to the $300-$350 permits that you need anywhere else, which might be good if you want to make a little money prior to purchasing a permit, and there are some clubs that offer permit assistance like Blue Flame and Fannies.

Dekalb county permits are $300 per year, and that is good for all clubs in that county. There are quite a few to choose from. Fulton County clubs are $350 per year per club. There are tons of threads on the subject.

You need a new permit for each Fulton club you work at. Bullshit, huh?
