    Thumbs down Saddest story...

I just read this story from the Yahoo homepage about child slaves in the US and it made me so sad and angry! The final "Epilogue" part definitely brought tears to my eyes. I really feel like this is a cause I might really get involved in I can't believe this is going on...

Control immigration. These f'in third worlders come here bringing "their ways" with them. California and it's "multicultural tolerance" is a magnet for this shit. It's not like they don't know this is illegal in this country but immigration and it's legalities have been looked over for years now.

Some would call you xenophobic for not being tolerant of how things are done and that the girl is lucky to be living in America.

    vocabulary lesson...

Xenophobia-an extreme fear of what is foreign, especially of people of foreign origin.

    ....regardless...abuse is abuse is abuse.

^^ By "some would would call you xenophobic", I think the poster meant some = "f'in third worlders" or actually the parents of the enslaved children. If they were living in a "studio" hut, one tiny room with a candle is already an upgrade in the parents view who just don't know any better.

That's sick. A few things really disturbed me (besides the child working as a maid, which was horrific). For one, if they were supposed to be deported, why was the woman back in the house? Second, that they got another child maid shows who vile they were. I was repulsed that no one in the family worked, yet the kids went to school. That means taxpayers may have been paying for these scum for free to educate their kids. Disgusting. Deport scum like them.

ETA: I watched the video. I see they did deport the woman and will deport the man. Glad they are going back.
