Default kit kat club (near san jose)?

...has anyone worked there? Do you get to make your own schedule there? (If not, how do they work that?) What are the lapdance prices, and how much does the club keep from each dance?

And...I know earning potential is different for everyone and all that, but if anyone can give me a rough idea of what kind of money to expect there, I'd appreciate it. I know it's mostly a stage-oriented club, but If it's possible to average anything over $300 on a night shift, I'd be satisfied with that.

I typed the club's name into the search b/c I know I remember seeing it mentioned in here before, but it kept coming up empty. Thanks to anyone who can give me any information.

I've worked at The Kit Kat for almost 8 years. As far as the going on stage and turning around twice thing, i think you got pranked. That's not a policy. Let me apologize for whoever told you that. As far as the music not starting for 30 seconds, I don't know what to say. The Dj always starts the music before the girl goes on stage. I'm not sure why that would have happened?

Here's all the info you should need about the club.

Dances: Charge what you want, but girls usually charge $25 for topless (1 song), $35/$45 for nude (1 song), $60/$70 nude (2 songs), $120/$100 nude (4 songs). For each song you do, you put $5 in the timer. Dances are 3 minutes for 1 song & 7 minutes for 2 songs.

    Number of Girls Per Shift:
    Day shift - 3 to 8 girls, Night shift - 7-14 girls

Tip-out: Is based on honor system. They don't track your dances. But the usual tip-out is 10% of your earnings to the DJ and 10% of your earnings divided among the staff (door person, bouncers, manager and bartender). So if you made $300 you tip the DJ $30, and let's say there was a small staff of only 3 people that day, then you'd tip them $10 each.

Contact: None. The dances are air dances. There are cameras all over the club, and they do watch them. Giving a customer a hug while you've got your clothes on is fine. But any contact during dances is not ok. Also rubbing your hand on a customers knee for example wouldn't be ok. Basically anything that could be considered sexual contact isn't ok. And that goes both ways. However, you are allowed to touch yourself on stage and in the private dances. But you can't penetrate yourself at all.

    Customers:
These days a lot of asian, mexican and indian clientelle. We still get some white collar business men, but their numbers have declined in the last few years. These days most of the business men come in during the day shift. We serve lunch during the day btw, so we do get a lunch rush.

    Management:
Treats you like a person not a number.

^^ Hmmm. Who knows. If it was a slow shift, all of the girls could have decided to prank you.?

    That's just my best guess.

    I've heard of stranger.

Wow Kit Kat sounds like a great club! Not that many girls, + no contact...I do well in clubs like that. Maybe I'll check it out next time I'm in the Bay Area

All I know about the pink poodle is that you're an employee. I don't know any of the specifics about how it works though.

I'd call before you make a trip down. I think right now we're on a temporary hiring freeze for dancers because of how slow it's been. Last Tuesday night it was a 12 dancer to 15 customer ratio. It's been a bit like a ghost town as far as customers go, but girls have been packing in the shifts in order to try and compensate for how slow it's been. I guess that's the case in a lot of areas right now. But California seems to be in especially bad shape.
