In conjunction with your Cardio
Activity, you MUST add in some strength training. This
one thing is where many people who exercise go
wrong. They don’t realize that by strength training they
will build more muscle mass. Or maybe they do, but
they don’t comprehend that additional muscle mass in
itself will raise your BMR and you will actually burn
more calories while you are doing NOTHING! Strength
training is actually more beneficial then cardiovascular
training when it comes to losing weight because of the
dual effect of burning calories and building muscle.
Strength train at least 3 times a week.
