yay meeeee! I was hired last night at a club I really like! I didn't have to audition per se, they just put me on the stage rotation and turned me loose! I was on the floor for a while before I had to go on stage, and it was slow at first, and I'm certain I found every loser in the place. But then I went on stage for the first time and my jitters lasted for about one song. Then it was like I had been doing this for a while. My moves aren't as cool as some girls, as I'm still a little unstable on my shoes for some moves, and I'm not real flexible. But I didn't even notice my feet hurting til I got home...I was busy doing dances all night, I got to go upstairs to VIP, but since no one really gave me any sort of orientation, I was caught off guard and I think he sheistered me out of some money, but he paid me to sit and talk. Nonetheless, I made gooood money, the management was super, the girls were great, and I met some fabulous customers. One potential regular who I hit it off with very well. He said he'd like to see me like 2 or 3 times a week! I could talk about "man stuff" with every customer because of my background and life experiences and that floored them. I talked about my logging company, hunting, rodeo and horses, semi-trucks...you name it. And they loved it!
So I was gonna go back in tonight but last night kinda kicked my ass and I need to recoup. I'm so thrilled I did it and didn't chicken out. It just came natural and I am ecstatic at how my first night stripping on New Year's Eve went. And the best part...when the staff or customers learned either my age or that it was my first time dancing, they didn't believe either! They thought I was at least 10 years younger (freakin eh right?) and that I had been dancing a while!
And I know the reason I was as prepared as I was is because I spent hours and hours on this site learning and listening to the girls who know what's up. So sincerely, thank you ladies. I appreciate your help very much.
