For shoes, Flirt Catalog is great (good for you now they have their sale on and reduced (or maybe free?) shipping for US custies). I own these in red (I call them my Jessica Rabbit Shoes). I only wear these OTC as they're harder than platforms to walk in for extended periods of time as you bear the full 5" height on your arches. However, they look wicked on. You might want to consider the other pumps on the site, such as these and these as they have a bit more of a 'retro' feel to them but are also platforms so they won't kill your feet so much over a long shift.

For clothes, a waist cincher such as the one by Leg Avenue on the left is great and not too expensive. But be aware of the difficulty of stripping in/out of it several times a night and dancing with it on stage.

For jewellery, a long string of freshwater pearls will look elegant. You might also want to consider a rhinestone suspender belt. I wore one of these to a burlesque night and I lost count of the amount of stares I got from the men and number of ladies who asked me where they could purchase one. But again, more for show as strenuous dancing might damage it.

You could wear flowers in your hair, or a fascinator if you want something more showy. Orchids, lillies or feathers pinned to the hair can look gorgeous. eBay is a good place to hunt these things down (and you can buy many for variety) without paying an absolute fortune.

50s retro is my daytime look - i have a Bettie Page haircut (RIP) and my daywear is generally by Stop Staring, Mode Merr and Collectif, but if you want to translate this look into the club then it's more about the lingerie you choose to wear.

Check out What Katie Did http://www.whatkatiedid.com/ and La Magia http://www.lamagia.co.uk
for vintage style underwear, although it's a bit too nice for ITC i think! But the excellent photography on those sites will give you more of an idea on how to style yourself.

Go for waist cinchers with matching nipple tassles or pasties (you could even learn to make your own, it's easy and there are lots of tutorials online - although i guess this depends on whether your club will let you wear them) with elbow length satin gloves (guys love it when you do the classic stripping out of a pair of gloves with lots of smiles and cheeky winks!) and rhumba panties (the frilly ones - i have a great set with a matching top that i think is by Leg Avenue that looks great with a flower in my hair).

There are tons of makeup and hair tutorials on youtube for a pinup look.

If you want more of that Marie Antoinette look then the wig and makeup is a very important part and i just came across this costume which is think is incredibly cute (needs a fan though)

for jewelry, try antique stores. depending on where you live, good finds are also available at yard sales, thrift stores, and maybe flea markets.

I do this look alot too and I agree that vintage and antique stores can be fantastic place for unique finds and special details and inspiration. Old Hollywood red carpet photos and movies from that era are a great place for ideas as well.

I often start with the very basics and add on. A simple gown and boa or a corset, bra, gloves and garter belt sets then embellish from there.

I have done a lot of digging at antique stores (too expensive ) and flea markets for antique/vintage jewelry , at flea markets it was too much work and i only had satisfactory results. Does anyone know of any vintage (aspired/costume) jewelry websites and with hopefully fast delivery ??

Leg Avenue make them and I bought mine on eBay US for ~$20 a long time ago. I'm sure a lot of other Leg Ave stockists may have it in their accessories sections though. IMO, they look a lot better on than in the picture. Nice and sparkly

Ahh! I love this. I did like using this at work on our retro nights because I danced to Elvis and Jerry Lee Lewis, and of course motown. ^_^

I really like the things they have on this website.

seconded pinupgirlclothing, and for jewelry, have you tried googling costume jewelry, or reproduction vintage jewelry? you may have some luck with that. i found a lot of different sites, but none that was phenomenal as i only went a few pages in and am not sure what you're looking for anyways.

i would suggest googling 'vintage jewelry' or 'antique jewelry'. then search browse through the pictures and then hit the mall...vintage, antique, and the pinup and flapper (1920's) look is in, so you have a great chance of finding some really cute stuff for cheap from Forever 21, wetseal, Claire's, Afterthoughts, and hit the department stores like Belks, Dillards, Macy's, etc etc etc...plus there are some great sales going on...i was at the mall today and saw some really hot deals and saw alot of jewellry in the style that you are looking for.

    happy shopping!

TBH - jewelery can be pretty well fudged. No one is going to notice ITC what period your jewelery is from so i'd just concentrate on making sure it compliments your outfit.

A string of pearls goes a long way - Claires is bound to have suitable stuff!

I was going to suggest Macy's for the jewels too. I think I've checked out some stuff in there that would fit.

Also ...... support handmade art at http://www.etsy.com
You can find both prices ranges (fake gem and real gem) there.
I will warm you though that once you get started on Etsy, it is hard to stop.

I had one bad experience with them customer-service wise, but their designs and quality is top rate and I continue to order from them. It is WORTH the money. All of my outfits from them have paid for themselves many times over because I stand out so much from all the other girls.

Me too! I am a total rockabilly IRL but unfortunately I have to completely disguise it at work, I can't be myself at all. Gotta pin the bangs back, cover the tattoos.... For some reason the customers here don't like it.

Anyhow....Asia these girls here have made some GREAT suggestions, I am so jealous that you work in a place that you obviously feel this look would be appreciated.

    Flower in hair: awesome.
Rhumba panties....love 'um. I think they accentuate a cut booty really well.

I also want to suggest to you http://www.babygirlboutique.com. They've got some really cute lingerie sets.
