Maybe you need to set some ground rules (nicely) before taking them under your wing?
    Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

Oh boy. This brings back many memories of always getting stuck training new dancers at my all time favorite club. It was one of the few negatives about being a "clean" queen bee dancer there- the management often asked me for help with new dancers, problem dancers, club promotions etc.

Its always good to see a friendly face when you first start dancing and someone who can tell you about the club etc. But i understand that it can be frustrating when your not in the mood and just want to make money and not have anyone following you around most of the night!

I Just recently came back to a club that I worked at for 4 years and found all new girls who didnt know who I was. Management and staff are the only people who really remember me and I still slightly get special treatment by them. Ive noticed all the new girls have taken a "who the fuck is this chick" stance towards me. I dont think it matters who is new, who is old, how long they have done it or how long you have...girls are always gonna be bitches towards people they feel threatened by. Ignore it, and possibly even go as far to take it as a compliment. If a girl is tripping out over you, chances are shes just jealous and is threatened by your ability to be amazingly sexy and capture the attention of every man in the room.

You dont need to make friends at work. Chances are, alot of the time you wont anyways and the ones you do connect with are usually not friends you actually want. If your out on the floor when your working and actually trying to make money, you wont have time to baby sit other girls. They are all adults. They can take care of themselves.

I maybe have a handful of friends at work that I will actually talk to. But these are like-minded girls that are there for the same reason as me...

    to pay the bills. Lol

We keep our chitchats for after the club has already shut its doors for the night.

This is why I 'm one of the people who also thinks the minimum age to be a stripper should be 21. I dealt with way too many baby newbies who just didn't have the maturity level to handle the job and all that surrounds the industry.

^^ I've seen some 25 y/o strippers that still don't have the maturity Id like to see in a coworker.Age, unfortunately, is not all that goes into mental maturity.

However, as long as they're not pampered, a young newbie should harden pretty quick. Once they realize that screaming their defenses doesn't work like it did in high school, they'll realize it's time to grow up.
