Default Goodbye tanning beds :( Hello sunless tanning :) some questions??

My face is pale, few parts of my body are pale and my stomach/chest/legs/back etc are olive bit tanned naturally, i have dark hair light eyes, my mum is a pale redhead italian my father is olive bit tanned overal and black hair serbian.

So i really littraly got both of there complexions mixed onto my skin

I used to tan (not a lot by the way) if i wanted a tan with tanning beds (i even have my own tanning bed) but because of everything i read about cancer on articles in the news etc now i want to stop with tanning beds completly!

I used few times some products like Dave L'oreal gradual tanners and thats fine for day to day life and daylight, i also did Mystic tan and California airbrush tan and the California spay booth (i prefer the California tan WAYYYY more then Mytic) for more dramatic results and did that for a few photoshoots with great results!

Because i stopped now with the tanning beds i have to use these sunless tanning more often because i do look better with a tan = feel better = more money

The gradual tanners are not dark enough to get that look i want for the club so it has to be the airbrush/spray booth sessions.......
The problem i have found with these darker tanners is that when i dance on stage i start to sweat a little bit between the boobs and on my back and the tan just rubs off on the costumes and gowns it looks terrible especcially with my white gowns and costumes

Is there ANYTHING i can do about this?

A friend told me to go to a special store we have here for make up artists and get a 'fixation spray' they use for catwalk shows etc????????

    Anybody tried that????

Most salons with the California tan also sell the same product they use in the spays to customers who want to keep the colour for longer period......it is very dark, way darker then the usual self tanners in the stores, did anyone ever use such a dark product without making a total mess?

Also i bought the 'California tan after glow' thats not a dark tanner just a golden glow effect anybody ever used that? does it rub off twice as more then the usual tanner???

    Thanks alot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i had to give up tanning beds and switch to tanning lotions. i don't know what to do about white costumes as i never really wore them, but i'd get this super dark tanning stuff of ebay, it was great, something about being mediterranean...either way no one could tell it was fake and one coat would get you pretty dark if you were in a hurry, 3 would equal what i achieved after months of tanning beds.
i'd let it dry and have a shower without scrubbing too hard, just to get the excess and the bronzer off, and then it did the trick. and i was on meds that'd make me sweat real bad, and this stuff would last. shelf stuff i'd get in the stores would start sweating off tho, but this stuff stuck on real good..

Yup this stuff is basicaly just hair spray. we use hair spray all the time for 'fixing' body paint and make up. just mist it all over the places where it rubs.
