still contemplating having these removed off my back. I have 2 main ones...
Are they easily removed? and after removal is the scar visible?

I've done 5 small raised ones on my face ( can't see the scar unless you are within a foot on my face ). I've done two 1/4 inch raised ones on my back and you can see the scar on those ( scar is skin colored though and you can't see it unless you are within a few feet on me ). A good derm. should be able to help minimize your scars.
i had 2 removed when i was younger, and am getting solar scans redone on 4 others next week to see if they need removing.
i had one burnt off, and one cut out. the burnt one just turned into a round scab, about a cm wide. the scar is still kind of there, but no one notices it except me. it just kinda looks like some freckling.
the one i got cut off was on my breast, it scarred for a lot longer, it was quite red for at least a year or 2, and the scar is now all shiny - it looks like a stretch mark.
it'll depend on how deep they are as to which method you'll need to use, but my friend had one cut out as well and the doctor put the stitches in too tight and she had horrible scarring for years, so make sure you're going to someone reputable.
you can easily cover the scars up with make up anyways, i wouldn't worry about the scarring and just get them out as peace of mind.
if they would let me i'd just get all mine cut out without having to do all these solar scans but i can't find anyone who'll just do them for me![]()

I had one on my back removed that scarred because they put a butterfly bandage instead of a stitch in it. I had also a mole removed from my arm that grew back!
i had a few removed a couple years ago. the scars are pretty minimal. not that you'd notice on me anyways because i have so many freckles.
procedure was super simple. they numbed me, cut them off, then cauterized them. i had black marks for a few weeks until my skin shed it all.
"If she wants to dance and drink all night, well there's no one that can stop her. She's going til the house lights come up or her stomach spills onto the floor. This night is gonna end when we're damn well ready for it to be over, worked all week long, and now the music is playing on our time. Yeah we do what we do to get by, and then we need a release!" - Against Me!, "Thrash Unreal"

Ive had several removed.
If you are concerned about scarring, use a plastic surgeon instead of a dermatologist. I have two HUGE what I call "stab wounds" where the Top Dermatologist in Washington DC removed two moles. Literally, its 10 years later and guys sometimes ask, "Did you get shot?"

i used wart mole remover, which i bought online, and didn't think it would actually do anything...but holy crap....it was bloody good. and no scar, mark at all.
not a carrot.
i would consider it as a cheap alternative.

I think I know which product you are talking about.
It's called WMV - Wart Mole Vanish and costs $79.95 US Dollars
It can remove about 5-10 moles depending on size.
Compare that to a plastic surgeon price you would be saving more than a $1000+
yeah thats the one. well worth the money. although the only horrible thing is that you have to scratch the mole and make it bleed before you apply the cream. then it harden's up over a few days and drops off eventually.
not pretty doing or during the process, but works a treat.

I had one one removed when I was about 9 from my underarm area, and there's just a tiny bump that is flesh toned. I removed another (tiny) myself by tying it off and using an oil on it. I don't remember if it was garlic oil or lavender oil... but there isn't any mark from that one other than the skin being just a tad darker. I have heard apple cider vinegar works well too.
I have a friend who had a few large ones removed by a doctor. He went it for something else, complained about the moles and the doctor removed them for free! Basically the doctor took a can of compressed air upside down and sprayed it on the moles. Within minutes they swelled up HUGE, and filled with liquid. He had to puncture it each day, or else it would burst on its own. I think that went on for like a week or two. Finally the thing scabbed over and just fell off though! Now you can't really even see where the moles were... way cool! The compressed are basically freezes them off though, so you know that had to sting!
There's also this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BRdJoilzgQ personally I think it looks like it would hurt and takes far too long!
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.
