    Default Age limit in Australia

With porn been R15 in australia, why is it you need to be 18 to simply dance, i think i wouldn't have as many issues if i could have been in the safety of club

The Restricted classification is 18+. I'd presume that the 18+ requirement relates to the fact that most strip clubs are licensed venues and the age for drinking is 18 here in Aus.

Porn is definitely NOT rated for 15+ !!! Where the funk did you think that it was suitable for 15 year olds ?!?!

It's always been 18+ because 18+ is the legal age here in Australia.

There's no such classification as R15 in Australia. Material in Australia is generally considered to be porn is when rated at least R18+ if not X18+. However, there is no a universally agreed definition of porn. Some conservative people would consider virtually any depicition of nudity to be pornography where as others would consider porn to be explicit sexual acts - it all depends on where you're coming from.

Here's a link to the Office of Film and Literature Classification (OFLC) which explains the ratings from M through to X as they apply in Queensland .

I'm pretty sure that you'll find that People, Picture and Penthouse will only shoot models aged over 18. This would also be confused by the fact that they publish several different versions of Pemthouse and Picture magazine with varying degrees of explicitness.
