When I first started dancing, the manager copied my license & wrote down my home addy. I just realized being an independent contractor, they might mail out forms for taxes. Do clubs do this?! I'm so worried & screwed!!!!

That depends on where you are. I know some cities require it, others don't. Did you have to get a dancer license or sheriff's card? If so, you may get info in the mail.
Promote yourself and earn more money! This is a business that is owned by strippers for strippers. Let's make that money!

Typically yes, however most don't list the club name but some other company name or initials. I think that is for the safety and security of the dancers. If you are really worried about it talk to your club manager and see if you can just pick it up. Most places wait until the very last minute to do things, so chances are that they probably haven't mailed it yet.

O.M.G.!! I am freaking out! I'm trying to get in contact with my managers right now but they're all busy & can't answer the phone. I'm so worried! I go into work tomorrow but what if something comes in the mail tomorrow?! I got my W-2 at my other job yesterday so I'm sure if the club is gonna mail something, they did it already!I'm so screwed!!

I think you're only really screwed if you already filled out your taxes without mention of your dancing income.
If you haven't yet, you still could claim the money you made dancing (or at least however much your club can prove to the IRS). Then, you have until April to work up the money you owe.
Don't freak out. It's the weekend. Nothing ever gets done over the weekend. You should have until Monday to get in touch with your club manager. HOWEVER, be prepared for them not to allow you to keep your job a secret from the IRS.

Ok so I talked to my manager & he said no tax forms are mailed out & I was like what about 1099s & he said you only get 1099s if they take the $ the girls make, which they don't do. Just to make sure, I asked if I could change my address they have on file & my manager reassured me nothing gets sent out to girls so I didn't get a chance to change it. Have any of you girls ever received anything from the club you dance at?
Wait, are you only worried about something showing up at the mail at your house? Like, fear of a parent/boyfriend seeing it?

That is what I figured the issue was (parent's/boyfriend). Yes, I have had things sent to the house, which is why I was able to answer yes - that they often do. I'm glad you checked with your manager. It probably wouldn't have been that bad though, like I said they normally put some other name on the envelope that isn't recognizable. You could have always said it was for some work you did online - filling out surveys/selling things/general work online or something. Don't let yourself get stressed about it, things always work out.

Sorry, I took the OP to be concerned about the IRS finding out. Personally, I've never gotten mail from work, it has always been a more discrete method. Clubs are very good about securing ways to contact you without violating your privacy. They understand a lot of girls dance sub rosa, and know that many would have to quit if that privacy is breached.
Hope it all worked out!
