One of my former clubs used to play this, and though it sounds prudish, I finding it totally demeaning to us dancers.
Not to mention it's the shittiest song ever.

It's certainly very stereotyped.
Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

I found it demeaning as well....and stupid.
I like it... I think it's funny! It's based on stereotypes- and all of us know that many dancers are nothing like this.

I remember the first time I heard it, I laughed and then it has been haunting me at every club! It is played alot now, still gives me a chuckle though.
Dignity is about showing self respect and having quiet self esteem
I love this song it sounds good in the club.
They play this song at my club ALL the time. It was funny the first couple times I heard it, but now it's just stupid.
When it comes down to it, I'll let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, then I'm already better then them.

saw it on youtube...
that guy just looks like a douche....nice car fuck face. Are you sure she's your girlfriend?
i wouldn't wanna dance to it...
Girls ALWAYS dance to this at my club! I'm not a fan of it either.
This song makes me of all the losers who try to pick up strippers. in my opinion its more of a knock on guys than strippers cuz in the song shes running the show and the dud (oops i wanted to type dude but dud is right!) is just along for the ride!

^^^glad you liked that...i have an affinity for the F word and i tend to get a lil creative in my cursing...it's rather amusing...i must have inherited that talent from my granny...i will never forget the time i heard her say "shitass"...i can't even freakin' type that without giggling!
that Dan Diamond dude looks like the type of D-list celeb that doesnt realize he is a D-lister and would get ferociously offended if he didnt get recognized in public because of his one little shitty song. tee hee.
I saw dan diamond at sapphire. I love the video and I LOVE the song. I think its funny. Even if its ridiculous.

in general i hate it, but i've some girls have the right attitude to make it work damn well onstage, and in those cases i think it's pretty fucking hot.
-love everyone but keep them far from your soul-
I've always kind of thought the song was funny, but I put it under the "is this what we really want our customers to hear about us?" category, like, "NERD - Lapdance" or "Rape Me."

i hate this fucking song. unfortunately it seems almost everyone but me keeps requesting it. it does seem demeaning and sterotypical to me. not just to dancers either, also to dancer's boyfriends in my opinion.
it's a double edged song. customers (and some dancers) love it, but it does portray a negative view of dancers. but even those it offends could think of a dancer or two they know who fits the mold, yeah?

I love that song it makes me laugh. I always laugh when people call strip clubs "titty bars" and the dancers are "titty dancers".
Makes me giggle.
Very much hitting it on both sides but eh its all in the fun.

I've always been partial to the term "nudie bars / dancer". In my hometown (Denver, CO) It qualifies as both topless and nude clubs.
As far as the video/song is concerned, i kinda like it. Working in Vegas, I get A LOT of requests for it by both customers and entertainers.

I like that song.... Its demeaning, but hey its just a song. So, its all good. You shouldn't feel like its too demeaning, its just a song. He has to make money too.
Plus, I would love to take a ride in the car-swoons-
The song just seems boring and awkward to me.... *shrug*

I mean if it offends you idk then... you gotta take a step back and look at what you are doing. People who know not much about being a dancer, or if they are a guy. See all strippers like that. As a toy i guess. People that don't know what goes into it. They just see someone who is very sexualized, and they assume you are getting around then i guess.

She counts her money while she's on the phone...a teety dance ah.
Ah just kidding this song is fuckin' weak and has no balls.
I've never heard the term titty dancer before.
Not only is it not clever it's boring.
There is way more truth in Shake It and I don't find that song demeaning at all.
It's almost like Eminems song has some class and this song was penned and recorded at a studio in a trailer park.
I've never done x, given head for money, brought a guy home from work, I don't call boys for rides, never done a three-way guess I'm a shitty titty dancer.
When is this douche culture going to go bye bye. I'm ready.

Not saying you did do that, but thats what ppl assume goes on. You can't stop them from thinking it. Kind of have to suck it up, and deal with it.
