    Default Shoe size?

    Hey everybody!! Happy new year!

I 'm a newbie and need to get some dancer shoes. I have tried the stiletto six inchers, but seriously as of now I feel unstable in those suckers. Anyway, I'm wanting to get the cone heel style for now since I plan on dancing very soon and I would feel more stable in them, but I'm not sure about the size. My stilettos are 7.5 buy Pleasers, but when checking online for the cone heel style they come in either 7 or 8 in a different brand like Ellie?

Do you guys recommend the 8's? I would try them on if there was a store that sold them, but I have checked and called around to the dancer stores and no one sells the cone heel style. Any info is great! Thanks!

I'd get the 7's. Anything too big will be insecure on your feet and you might just fall right out of them.

The smaller ones should stretch out anyway. You want shoes to be a little tight on you when you first get them for just this reason, esp if the upper is that clear plastic material.

yea get the smaller size...if they feel too small at first, take a blow drier to the plastic for a few seconds before you put your foot in it. make sure it's not too hot!!! the shoes will then mold to your foot. PERFECTION!!

So I got my cone heels..and they are great.. Now I would suggest just walking around them in your house like many people have suggested...That's what I've been doing and it's getting better
