I can't find the info I need, anyone know what I am talking about. Something about housewife? Melonie knows what I am talking about, I think.

many years ago the US congress specifically disallowed deductions for cosmetic surgery.
One feature dancer by the name of Cynthia Hess (a.k.a. Chesty Love) successfully appealed the legitimacy of a business expense deduction for 'professional' sized implants. However, in order to qualify for this deduction, the implants must be filled to a minimum of 1000cc EACH.

Don't you ever sleep?
Not at night...that's when the stars have rather better things to do. They're coming out, shining, that sort of thing.

hum..... My tax guy must be awfully liberal......
Of course I recomend that you follow whatever the exact rule on it is. Of course , that Chesty love girl took on the irs and won , so maybe you can too if it ever becomes a issue.

thank you!
I feel that "professional size" implants should be that would brings your boobs UP TO a certain size-- I.e., instead of 1000 cc implants, implants that bring your full chest size up to 1500cc each.
I'm already a natural D. 1000cc's would look freakish on me while an extra 500cc would make me look like a porn star.

That is all well and good but that was not the result of the court case.
Precedents are made to be overturned as well as observed, there is nothing saying that the next "chesty love" wouldn't be as lucky in the selection of judge she gets and could loose altogether and then there will be no longer any such thing as "professional sized implants"

obviously where the IRS is concerned, anything is possible. However the Cynthia Hess Letter Ruling has been successfully used by myself as well as many other features having implants (much) larger than 1001cc for the past 10+ years. Since the relative number of girls attempting to take advantage of this letter ruling is small, and since the precedent is well established, from a pragmatic standpoint the IRS has little to gain by attempting to reverse policy.
However, since the number of girls involved is potentially much larger, disallowing a business expense tax deduction for dancers getting 'catalog' sized implants would result in much higher potential tax revenues for the IRS. And from a precedent standpoint, the IRS has both the congressional ban on tax exemptions for 'cosmetic surgery' as well as the 'housewife test' business expense criteria on their side. As such, dancers attempting to claim 'catalog' sized implants as a business expense are definitely increasing the probability they will be audited. And once audited, the auditor will very probably attempt to apply the same 'housewife test' business expense criteria to health club memberships, tanning salon memberships, hair and nail expenses, makeup expenses etc.
Good point Melonie!
