    Default Any Ladies have twins, triplets?

    Hey, I am expecting twin boys in April. I was wondering if any other ladies here have had twins/multiples and returned to dancing. I'm curious to know how you looked afterward, how you maintained your figure, and avoided having a saggy belly. I have 2 kids already, 7 & 9 1/2, I'm 26, and I really want to go back to dancing after they are born, but I am very worried about my physical appearance and how my body will look after the twins. I bounced right back after my other pregnancies without having to exercise and had a flat belly. I don't mind having to exercise, but I worry constantly about being able to bounce back and having a ton of loose skin. We definetely will not have $$ for a tummy tuck. I 've only known a few dancers who looked just OK after twins. Just wondering if anyone else has had multiple pregnancies and maintained there body. Thanks.

    I do not, but I do have a friend in your exact situation.

    She has a 12 year old daughter, her son is maybe seven and she just had twins about six months ago.

    This chick has always had rock hard washboard abs, and within three months of having the twin boys, she was back to work looking as flat as ever.

    I couldn't believe it. totally jealous.

    though i havent stripped before, i do have twins and am working on getting into dancing. for me, im still working on the tummy, its not fat anymore, just skin, but being s young as i am i should still get my elasticity back. i far from bounced back after my first two. but i found i gained so much less with the twins, since i was more focused on staying healthy. the most important part of that is staying in shape. lord knows dont push yourself, by week 36-37 i can almost guarentee youll need one of the older ones to help you get out of bed (i was all belly and would almost topple over lol)try to do some pilates, or some yoga, and just as you get bigger limit whatever you know you shouldnt be doing. i walked a lot, and made a huge effort to eat right. im almost the smallest ive ever been, smaller than i was pre-kids. so if you bounce back normally, theses a really good chance you will again. however if you do get a c-section, dont push yourself too fast, you may end up doing internal damage even though the outside looks fine. i'd really reccommend going to a site called i-am-pregnant.com. there are tons of women who are pegnant or have multiples who can give you a lot more pointers on being able to get back in shape after, as well as the ups and downs of during the pregnancy.
    oh and congrats on your twins. mine are double the trouble, but i hope yours are twice as nice...
