    Default Coachella-how does it work?

I wanna go to Coachella but I don't do so well in big concert crowds so I was looking at their camping option. Can you see the concert from the campground?

I want to know too. I haven't been to any West coast festivals yet but this years lineup is awesome! I definitely want to go!

I went last year and it's so big! I never felt that over crowded except during headliners. There's just so many attractions and stages. It gets a little crazy once the sun goes down so I recommend a flash light or a really bright cell. Especially if your short like me:-)

My man and I stayed in a hotel and then just went for 1 day. We are thinking of going all 3 days this year.

We got VIP passes last year. The funny thing is , we didn't even use them until we had been there for hours. They are cool to have, but all of my fave bands were on the other side of the polo field and even though they have nice, real bathrooms, they are always crowded once night falls and when people are drunk and sick. I hear you can get those cheap on craigslist if you keep looking.

no, you definitely cannot see the stages from the campgrounds. i hate huge crowds as well, and the year i went to coachella (2007), it was absolute hell but still so amazing. i would recommend getting a hotel because the campgrounds are also going to be insane. i would also get vip passes. you still have to walk over to each stage to see whoever it is you are wanting to see, but at least during downtime you can be comfortable in a closed off, more private vip area.

I went!! It was massive and beyond awesome! I also got an invite to the Filter Mag pre-party the night before it started.

Just too many awesome experiences Seeing rock legends: Sir Paul Macartney, poets Leonard Cohen and Henry Rollins, Crystal Method. And the new stuff, White Lies (my fave) and the Latin bands (Molotov is the like the Mexican Rage Against the Machine!) And getting pretty close for MIA!

And my man got vip passes for all 3 days as well. Saw some celebs, but that's not why I was there. It's the muzik!!
