Be forewarned that this is a rant.
I was at a club and there was a dancer there who I sort of got into it with the night before. I know I look really young, and she was trying to offer me "advice" (un-solicited) but it was something that was against the rules of the club and in most places against state law. I just basically told her that what she did was her business, and that I didn't do things that way. This is a dancer who is MUCH older than me - I would venture to say mid to late 40's and not well "kept". Basically she has destroyed her body and her teeth, skin and hair look terrible. I'm sure she has to do things I wouldn't do to stay in this business. She has an older friend who is the same way and they do all their stage sets and dance together, and I'm sure that's a selling point to the customers.
Anyhow, these three guys come into the club. They were all traveling construction workers, the type that wander from one place to another not knowing where their next check is coming from. Two of the guys check me out, so I sitt down with them. The third, who looked like an overweight John Travolta, is less than interested and starts insulting me right off the bat, so I chat up the other two. They aren't ready for privates since they just sat down, so I let them enjoy their drinks and tell them I'll check in with them later. So I'm dashing back and forth between guys giving dances, and this group keeps trying to get my attention, but I can't talk to them. When things finally settle down I walk past again and one of the guys points at me and signals to come over. Well, they are setting with the older dancer... who is smoking. I lean over to hear what he has to say and she purposely leans in and blows smoke in BOTH of our faces! I know she was trying to get me to leave, but it's three guys and they called ME over, not vice versa. Anyhow, I didn't deal with them the rest of the night, but it took everything I could do to NOT blow up on her right there. Needless to say she didn't get any dances from them.
So here's a lesson ladies... avoid blowing smoke in your customers faces, it's not sexy and being rude to another dancer in front of customers is also NOT sexy!
