    Default Sedu

OMG THEY MAKE THE BEST STRAIGHTENING IRONS EVER! I got mine in the mail a few days ago and I LOVE it! Retail price is like $160, but Folica.com was having a Christmas sale and I got the Sedu 1" and a mini Sedu (retail about $60) all for $88! I'm African-American with frizzy curly hair, and at the moment I don't have a relaxer in. This straightening iron makes me feel like I just walked out of the salon! I attached some pics of the two irons and my hair afterwards. Anybody else love Sedu just as much as me?!

Omg, I wish I'd known about that special. I have the bigger one, and could really use the 1" and the travel size! Mine works great, but I have never owned another high-end flat iron to compare. I just know it got the best reviews out of all the flat irons on folica.com at the time, and it hasnt disappointed me in years of use.

Yeah, I knew I was either getting the Sedu or CHI, but I've heard a lot of incidents of the cords having shorts in them. Hopefully Folica will have another good sale so I can pick up some babyliss curling irons!

OMG I'd be totally lost without mine! Seriously, it is without a doubt the best straightener on the market. I've tried others, nothing works as well.

JayATee, have you tried the T3's (I think? or is it GHD?) all the ladies on here seem to love as well?

How do these compare to the Chi and that other brand that is suppose to be beating out Chi? I've gone like a year without a straightener after someone stole mine. My curling iron has been standing in... but it doesn't work as well.

T3's are supposed to be better than GHD's. I've heard very good things about both but having never tried them I can not tell you which is better from experience. It seems like they are comparably priced as well (at least the T3's, the GHD's seem a bit on the expensive side). I usually stick with what works. I've tried some cheaper straighteners and it was a big mistake, so I like Sedu because its never destroyed my hair.

I had the chi for 4 years and then the cord went out. I was happy with it, but not ecstatic (My hair is on the dry side and I get split ends)....but it was way better than the ones I used to get at Sallys Beauty Supply. I wouldn't use those if you paid me.
