Well yes it is actually because the cost is most likely cheaper. Just like having the same convention in Omaha, Nebraska would be cheaper. Depending on the demographics. Lets be serious, these conventions are not being held at the Howard Johnson.

I don't care if they send their janitors there, no one should be partying in Vegas, or anywhere else for that matter, on taxpayers' money. And we all know how many fucking janitors they are going to send to Vegas.
