Default $60 for a private dance = expensive?

I think thats a pretty steep price as other clubs charge $30, $40, or sometimes $50 respectively. The highest I paid was $50.. but that was a 15minute private dance which was fun.

But ummm... $60... that can buy you 5 brand new dvds.

How much do girls charge for lap dances over there in USA?
what are the average to most expensive lap dances?

The club I visit charges $10 per dance on main floor and $20 in VIP.

Yeah, my club has a $20 VIP dance and a $200 1/2 hour Champagne Room. I can't IMAGINE spending $60 for a lap dance no matter how hot the dancer is or even how much contact is involved. It's probably because I'm so frugal and whatnot, but...yeah--like you said OP, that money could be spent so many other ways.

At the clubs I've worked at, the dances vary from $20-$40 (or 3 for $100). And the guys definitely complained about the $40 dances being too expensive. I don't think they would take too kindly to $60 dances! That is too high!

The most expensive non-VIP dance I've ever given was $25. All the other clubs I've worked at, the norm is $20 a dance.

A 15 minute dance is really like 5 separate (3 min) lap dances. So that's basically like paying $10 for a standard lap dance, which is cheap. Was this done on the main room, or a separate private area?

The standard rate for a topless, one song, 3.5 minute, topless, non-vip lap dance on the main room is $20.

Who charges $60? Is this standard in Australia?

The club I work at we have to offer $20 dances but we hate doing them because we are a booby touching club. As it is we rarely do $20 dances. Some of the reasons for this is that the girls actually work together, we keep the $20 dance as a plain air dance (no time for touching) and we train the customers. The standard here is also very high, but the customers expect it also and know they will most likely get their money's worth. The customers also know that once it gets busy we can't afford to do them for less, especially when a dancer only has 45 mins between podiums to hustle and usually has to wait 20 mins to get in the room when she does get a customer. Most customers will happily pay for the $50 or more for lap dances.

its not standard.. thats why I thought I'd ask about USA prices.

I've been to about 7-8 different SCs here (all the biggest clubs in the city) and $60 is the most expensive. We get international girls frequently travelling and working here and I'm sure they make substantial amounts of $. It it also open 6 days a week and has plenty of custies who spend on the dancers.

I actually work for the owner here (in the ladies SC) but I don't come into the gents side of the SC that often. But I do make a habit of spending on girls who tip me..

If you want to know more info.. I can probably get you a job if you want to come to Aus you can pm or email me preferably. But you want to make sure you are in good shape, can pole dance, and bring something unique to the table before considering. We have a variety of girls here and most of them are all pretty good.

The average of all the clubs I've been to or worked at is around $25, but I sell $40 dances at the penthouse in new orleans, and hardly anybody complains.

guess it all comes down to whether custies will pay for it..
if they are paying then theres no problem really..

I just found it odd in comparison to the other rates

Sometimes if you price something higher than the competition, people will automatically perceive it as being more valuable. It's a smart marketing trick.

You see it in things like cosmetics lines that have their "high end" department store brand and another "budget" drugstore brand. They're really the same product, but a lot of people won't use makeup sold in drugstores, because they assume that higher prices equal higher quality.

$30 clothed, $60 topless. 2-4-1's (buy one get one free) done about every hour or so. no vip option available at my club.

^^ Damn! People buy clothed dances?? I have NEVER heard of that!!

Not to sound like a total PL, but then what's the point? Is it high contact or something? I have enough problems selling nude dances at my no contact, $20/dance club...

there's a lot of grinding and mutual touching. guys are allowed to touch our backs, sides, stomachs, legs, and depending on the girl, butt. we're allowed to touch their shoulders, arms, necks, heads, and below their knees.

edit: when i say "touch", i mean with the hands. everything else falls into the grinding category.

A clothed dance at a strip club? For $30? What the heck?

In St. Louis the dances are either $25 or $40 depending on the club. Levels of attractiveness, effort, sensuality and contact seem to have no connection to price, so there is no good reason to ever pay the $40.

also, when i say clothed, i don't mean i have on jeans and a sweater. i'm still wearing a skimpy dancer outfit.

and i work in virginia, where the closest we get to nude on stage is a thong and pasties. so dances are probably oriented to state law as well. i've never thought about it.

^^ Haha, yeah...I mean, I don't mind getting naked, but that's pretty crazy that you can sell a $30 clothed dance. The contact level makes it make sense though.

It strikes me as REALLY old school. Like how 'back then' stripping used to be such a novelty that guys would pay a lot of money for a lot less than they can get today.

Then again, I guess if that's the only option in the state, you just have to take what you can get.

$60 seems expensive to me but I'm sure dancers and clubs charge what the market will bear. The most I ever paid for a dance was $40 which was a full nude high contact dance in Florida. The norm in southern Ohio is $20 - $30 topless.

while i like working in virginia, i don't make nearly as much money as people do other places. it's a double edged sword.

$500 is a fantastic night for me, with $250-300 being good, and $100-200 being average. then again, cost of living is pretty cheap here too.

i want to try dc. it's all nude, lapdances are illegal, there's no floorwork allowed, and from what i've heard from girls you can make $400-$500 pretty easily. seems like a sweet deal in comparison to how much i have to work my ass off to have a really good night down here.

They make that much money on stage without doing floorwork? That's fricking awesome too.

In nola, there is this club called visions where the stage is a really long bar, and guys sitting at it are required to tip each dancer as she passes. There's 80 something seats at the bar and ZERO seats away from the bar, so you can make a lot of money on stage.

In NOLA, I had a really hard time selling $40 dances, even though the setup was such that it was practically a VIP for one song.

But a $10 difference in price made all the difference for me in CO, where I had no trouble selling $30 nude dances or $20 for topless.

I'm used to charging $20 for a dance, and can frequently get guys to pay double when I'm working in a $10 dance club.

So yes, I think $60's pretty high.

I hate it when strippers come up and offer a lap dance without conversation
I am happy to pay $20 off the bat but I don't know where they come off trying to sell me a $60 air dance... I can air dance infront of a mirror and probably get entertained more and still have $60 in my wallet...

    insulting...

In the SF nude clubs, it's $20 bikini dance, $40 topless, and $60 nude. A large percentage of girls at the nude club I worked in charged $100 a song, and allowed touching everywhere but the bajingo. If they weren't one of the $100/song girls, they definitely expected/demanded tips.

My clu now is $20 a dance, $200 + 2 drinks for a half hour in VIP, and $400 + 4 drinks for an hour in VIP.
