I've seen his videos before. He makes me giggle... I love it! I have a lot of male friends who will come to my house for parties and the first thing they do is race to play on the pole. It's really pretty funny to watch - but I'm glad I have insurance because sometimes they get a bit rowdy and daring! They always come back the next day complaining about how sore they are all over - but particularly the muscles.

On a side note, I've actually had a lot of men and cross dressers take dance and pole classes from me. Some of them are amazingly graceful after just a few classes, but I LOVE watching the totally ungraceful ones.

Well I hope he cannot read this since he kind of sucks at the pole, but it's cool that he has that good attitude about it I guess.

I have yet to see a video with a guy on the pole that looks good, except a few parts of some phenomenal Chinese Pole videos. They always look gay, or sometimes not gay but trying too hard to be sexy and looking fucking stupid instead. Or just Failing miserably, like why even bother?

I am thinking I need to make a video that doesn't look fucking stupid, just to show it can be done. Maybe use this webcam thing on the MacBook here. Maybe later, though--I am still hungover from last night now, lol!

There are 6 male instructors known worldwide now.
1 in the US
1 in France
1 in the UK
1 in Australia
1 in Japan
1 in Malaysia
Not to mention the hundreds of men who "pole" but not dance! Here in Canada it is a form of Men's Vertical Fitness..which is resistance training not pole dancing!

Steve Gale is one of my faves...he operates 4Cubed, and in an incredible aerial performer.

And so you know.....Joel can not read this forum....but he does know he is not great...he even states it....BUT...He tries, and it gives people ambition to attempt something they might not have thought to do otherwise!

His progress has been amazing...what he does is for his own purpose and for the support of those on forums like mine who may actually be worse than him! It gives some women incentive to try it themselves!

I stand corrected. I didn't mean to be mean to the guy, and you sure can't knock him for having fun and trying something new.

And what you say about 'men's vertical fitness' as opposed to dancing would definitely apply to the way I do the tricks, etc. It may not be obvious from the various photos I have posted, but I am most definitely NOT dancing. Every video I have seen of these guys doing tricks, other than Chinese pole, they are either dancing (usually) or quite obviously trying to be sexy (usually way too hard). I have no doubt there are videos out there that are different, I just haven't seen any yet--other than some of the Chinese Pole stuff.

Maybe you could post one if you have one like those you were talking about.

It's well known that men have better natural upper body strength. When you see him do his inverts, you really see and feel how strong people have to be to do some of the tricks. I think the vids really demonstrate how challenging pole work is ! He isn't the most graceful, but he is trying and he is getting a great workout!

I find that great pole work falls on blind eyes anymore....people just wanna see nakedness and ass shakin. -_- But....back OT...I think its great that hes experimenting. Who cares if hes good or not...hes enjoying himself and its probably inspired alot of people that were too insecure to try pole dancing to run out and get one.
