Ok. What's worse is I could see myself doing that and I don't smoke weed. Hmmm. duh.

I love the way some anti-drug propaganda focuses so intently on marijuana like it's the worst drug ever, when it's actually the most benign. But for anti-weed propaganda wildly exaggerating the negative side effects, it was sort of funny.

ya know what? you just read my mind.
when was the last time anyone saw a PSA warning teens about the dangers of crack, meth, or herione?
i would absolutely love to see some statistics concerning those who smoke marijuana on a regular basis who actually lead successful, productive, healthy lives and inturn never ever ever progressed to a harder drug.
quite a few of my fave people in my life are avid 'stoners' or 'drunks' but they have their all their shit together to the utmost...far more so than most of the 'sober' people i know...
it's the same circle of bullshit...just like how the price of cigs continues to rise and 'tobacco' advertisement being extremely limited...however the price of a twelve pack has remained steady and beer commercials are on all the freakin' time.
hey america, wanna teach your kids about drugs and how they can totally fuck ya? then grab the popcorn and sit down for a nice family movie night...tonights feature REQUIEM FOR A DREAM.

Hi Djoser,
I put the video up because I thought it was funny. I was joking about "not smoking pot before your karate demo".

^ i thought it was funny....especially the lil bit at the end..."high for a night, slow for a month"
lordy lordy... thats what reefer does to ya? lol![]()

Oh don't worry, Eagle, I didn't mean to be rude about it, and it is a funny video.
I have just always been amused by the various anti-drug propaganda over the years. As opposed to the pro-drug propaganda put out by the pharmaceutical corporations, lol.
Who is Scott Weiland, though?

Hi Djoser,
I didn't think you were being rude. Just responded to what you said.
Scott Weiland was/is the singer for the Stone Temple Pilots. He's well known for his drug problems.

Weiland is best known for his work with intravenous equipment. His career as a drug fiend began, as so many similar careers do, with the gateway drug marijuana, which he first tried when he was 13. At 16, having dropped out of high school in his freshman year, he first tried cocaine. Not long after that, he first tried rehab. All of this, though, was mere prelude to his discovery of his true calling, hardcore heroin addiction.
personally, i did just about every manner of hallucinogen and party drug several times before i ever smoked weed. it just didn't seem very exciting.
my gateway drug was ecstasy!
"If she wants to dance and drink all night, well there's no one that can stop her. She's going til the house lights come up or her stomach spills onto the floor. This night is gonna end when we're damn well ready for it to be over, worked all week long, and now the music is playing on our time. Yeah we do what we do to get by, and then we need a release!" - Against Me!, "Thrash Unreal"
^ i second that. not a huge fan of weed, and it pales in comparison to x.
