    Default Tip Jar Shoes

I have never seen a girl at my club wear these, but I think they're cute. My question is: how do you get the money out? Is there some kind of trap door? I cant imagine guys actually putting money in shoes as opposed to a g-string, but I figure if I can get the cash out then it would be a ideal place to keep money when I'm working because I hate carrying a little purse around. I have actually started wearing thigh highs and just putting the money in them. Does anyone else own a pair? Any suggestions? Thanks!

(this is the kind of shoe I'm talking about_

I'm pretty sure there have been threads on these shoes before.....

I've never worn them but I've seen girls that have. There's usually a little flap in between the compartment and your foot that you can pull open when you're shoe is off.

If anything, I think of them as somewhere safe to put your money while you're working. You can't lose it and someone would have to catch you barefoot to steal it. And it shows off your other tips while you're dancing to inspire more tipping.

I like the ones without "TIPS" on them so you can put other things inside besides money (glow sticks, dice, etc.).....

From what I have seen these are novelty shoes and not intended to actually put money in...apparently they just look cute. (To some ppl)

Looking them up, they all seem to be accessible from inside like speakngez said. I don't think they would have the slot there if they weren't functional. Lead to too many stupidity issues.

I have almost the exact same ones. I scraped the "TIPS" off because it would have looked tacky in the club I was working in (I just wanted clear heels and they were the only ones in my size that day).

Customers have to really shove bills all the way into the slot or they may fall out. Especially if he got cute and folded it down a lot like they sometimes do.

There is a trapdoor under your foot. The edges of that opening will collect grime faster than you would ever believe, and it gets harder to close all the way when you've opened it many times... feels kinda funny on the sole of your foot.

Also, if you have a lot of singles, you'll want to be cashing them in frequently to still have room in the shoe to store all your money.

Personally, I've always seen them to be more of a novelty than functional. Takes too long to tip into them and they can't hold very much. Perhaps you're experience will be different.

    Best of luck!

Thanks that really helped. I like the idea of scraping off the tips and the glow sticks. I'm going to go find some in person (the only ones I've seen are online) to figure out how much of a pain in the ass it would be to keep money in there and how durable they seem.

i had a pair that i cracked after about three months, but i dance really hard and stomp a lot. so i break all of my shoes anyway.

i put money in mine to begin with, because a lot of guys didnt even notice the slit. once they saw the money and the slit, they were like "oh, that's cool! here, put this in there".

the money isn't too hard to get out, but they're a little less comfortable than regular shoes.

This night is gonna end when we're damn well ready for it to be over, worked all week long, and now the music is playing on our time. yes, there is a trap door. it is located under the sole of your foot. i've never seen anyone put money in these shoes and there are several pairs of them lying underneath the lockers at work.

I had clear ones without the slit. One of the most comfortable pairs of stripper shoes I've ever owned... Pleasers I think.
