    Default BA help!

I would have posted this in one of the other BA threads but I didn't find any that helped.

I'm considering getting breast augmentation surgery. Right now I'm flat as a board, A measly 32A. But I would never feel comfortable going larger than a 36B. It's of the utmost importance to me that they look and feel as natural as possible. I'm not a fan of the fake look. Plus it would look ridiculous on me considering I'm only 5'1 and pretty slim. I'm wondering if it's not worth it to get the surgery if I only want to be a 34B(or something close to that). From what I've heard that doesn't really fall into any of the categories of what the customers like. They either want small and natural, big and natural, or big and fake. But don't get me wrong, I'd still want it for myself. Not solely to make more money. I'm at a loss here. What should I do?

Oh and also... I'm concerned about when I would be going back to work after getting the surgery. I would probably wait at least a month before going back to work just to be safe, but would they have settled by then? Or dropped or whatever you call it. I don't know how I'd feel about showcasing my still firm and swollen breasts... I can't imagine it would look very sexy.

It matters not at all what look the other customers of the plastic surgeon you choose go to him/her for. This surgery is all about you. Implants can be as small as 150cc's. Your dr. should be able to guide you to the size and type of implant s/he feels is best suited both for your body and your desired results. If you want implants, but are unsure, go on several consults and get different opinions from different surgeons. Make sure you research as much as you can and ask any and all questions you may have both of your dr. and on sites like www.implantinfo.com.

As for working, I can say that dancing after 4wks would not have been an option for me. I found that pretty wasn't at all the way to describe them those first few wks. I love them now though and it was all completely worth it, but there's no way I could've "displayed" them so soon. If you'd like to see some pics I'm happy to share.

I'd love to see them! How long until you went back?

I just got my breasts done about 8.5 weeks ago. I am 5'1 95lbs and had 32a/b. I have not gone back to work yet and will not for another week. I recommend this because up until now my breasts were hassles, pain and such. Being on the thinner side, my breasts finally are feeling softer. When you don't have a lot of breast tissue I recommend silicone. I am now a very full 34C after getting 375 moderate profile.

It isn't how big you want to go, it is the size and shape of your breast versus the size and width of the implant. If you go with a small circumference implant, it will make small boobs look like to floating balls out in a middle of a breast. Don't focus too much on size but on placement, diameter, the weight of the implant. There are many different factors that go into finding the ideal size. Like if you are looking into getting a B go for the moderates - they have less projection and more width. If you go for high profile and small you will most likely come out with a small narrow cone. I advise against high profile because they just aren't very natural looking.

Being a stripper, look for the best type of implants that look stellar naked. Go for a crease incision because it is very hidden after 6 weeks and if you have any complications, it is the easiest to fix. I have had to get a hematoma drained and the crease incision looks the same as the other one. It is also the easiest for the doctor to gain the easiest access for placement. Placement is key when you are small breasted because you will be mostly implant.

If you are small and have strong muscles, if you go back to work too quickly, you will get complications like a late hematoma which happened to me.

Remember if you do implants, if your breasts are slightly different in the least, it will show. My left breast is bigger with a slightly lower nipple, my right more rounded. It shows but only to a degree. Plastic Surgeons cannot change your shape. The only thing they can do is make boobies bigger.

I hope this helps. If you need any more advice, I will be glad to help you out. This is a highly emotional experience before, during and after.

The other thing you need to consider is whether you go for over or under muscle implants. I'm only a little bigger than you (five foot even, and I think I weighed just over 110 the morning of my surgery) - I went a fair bit bigger than you're planning (I started at a 32B that I didnt quite fill out, but an A was too small), and I'm now a 32DD, but because I've got HIPS, they suit me and people who don't know I have them never think they're fake.

Because I have so little of my own breast tissue, I had them placed under the muscle to give me a more natural look. The payoff to that was that it was 10 weeks before I was able to do much of anything (I don't work as a dancer, but I do pole dance for fitness). I couldn't even go back to my job in a vet clinic for 10 weeks because my doctor was concerned that I'd tear the muscles along the incision lines.

There are so many things to consider when you get a BA it's ridiculous- one of the reasons it took me YEARS to decide what I wanted and get the balls (and money!) to do it.

A really good site is the JBI forum, http://www.justbreastimplants.com/forum/, if you want to know who I am on there PM me- I have photos up, which reminds me that I need to update them.

I didn't want a fake look for myself either- in fact you sound a LOT like me before I got mine done. I wanted a small C, I think- and even though mine don't look like it, they are around 32D/DD (in Vicky's they are too big for 32DD ) I never, ever believed it before, but... you'll be surprised how quickly you get used to them, they don't look big to me at all now!

I'd be careful to go with crease incision if you have very minimal tissue- it may be awhile until the breast creases enough to hide it well. Up to you and your doctor, that's just my point of view.

Also... I went with unders, but I'm having mad problems with muscle deformity, and it really bothers me- enough to the point I'm considering swiching to silicone overs.

I took a month off from work, and was fine at that point. Everyone's different, be financially prepared to take longer off, you may not heal as fast.

Again, PM me for more info, I'd be glad to help!

ETA: If you're a 32 now, you'll likely stay that, unless you gain weight or get implants that are wider than your current boobies. Which means that your desired 36C would most likely be more like a D or higher on you. Bras are the Devil!

I had a BA and went from a 32A/AA to a full 34B. They're perfectly proportioned for my body (I'm 5'2), and they actually look larger than B cups, but a 34B bra fits perfectly. And nobody guesses that they're fake.

Proportion was much more important to me than size, and my end result was that I went from a 31.5-24-33 figure to a 34-24-33 figure. My surgeon was fantastic and my experience overall was great.
